Everything was cool. The Tijuana tour was kinda weak. Felt to planned and not the real Tijuana I wanted to see

Quite simply the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Fantastic location, great staff, absolutely impeccably clean. Being 30, I was worried that it might be too much of an 18-year-old backpacker party place but it's not - there's a nice and relaxed vibe, people doing their own thing but it's super friendly at the same time. Don't stay anywhere else in San Diego - this is THE place. Oh, Tanya is a fantastic hairdresser - ask her to cut your hair and she'll do a great job!

Everything is perfect. I'd only suggest that the hostel prepare a little breakfast, instead of guests prepare their own breakfast.

This hostel is located in an ideal part of downtown San Diego (gaslight district). There are heaps of really cool pubs near by so it is not to hard to stumble home after you have had a skin full.

Nice hostel, great location, everything you would need the only issue was it was very dull, the way the hostel is set up means it is not easy to socialize. There is a lounge room but the door is closed and its not very 'enticing'. Do not stay at this hostel if you are looking for a party hostel, do stay here if you want a quiet, chilled couple of nights.

Location was the major positive of the hostel but the hostel itself was pretty average.

It' a perfect place to stay in busy downtown San Diego. Perfect to discover everything. But! You should get new windows for the rooms facing the 5th street for noise reduction. You can only get to sleep after 2am. After all the clubs are closed. Anything else was just fine!

Pancakes + fresh fruit + oatmeal at breakfast are great! Be earned that there are some renovations going on right now, including the laundry room (which is not in use).

I had an incredible stay at USA hostels San Diego. Fantastic location in the middle of everything and top notch facilities! Beds were extremely comfortable and I had my own outlets! Showers and toilets were really good as well. Definitely do the Tijuana tour if you stay here! I had a blast and met great people, including the staff! Thanks for everything, Rodrigo, Veronica, Beth and Take! I hope to be back soon!

change the water tap in the bathroom on the first floor. they are too small. and reduce the ON time of the infrared sensor, everytime I use it I have to wait for a long time till it switch the water tap off.

Just a great hostel with a lot of activities e.g. Tijuana Tour and Pub/Club Crawl. The hostel is located directly at the Gaslamp quater which is the party district of San Diego. Also if you arrive by car the a lot of parking lots close to the hostel. We highly recommend to stay their.

A great hostel. Excellent if you like to party. The activities offer a trip to Tijuana etc but are unfortunately mostly good for people who like to party. Anyways, staff is excellent. Good location, harbor in walking distance. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, bagels, coffee & tee. Unfortunately no milk. Enjoyed it though.
