Overall this was a very nice hostel. The staff was courteous, the rooms were cleaned everyday, and the common room was amazing and big. There was a pool table, a foose ball table, and plenty of tables. I didn't use the laundry area but it was conveniently located near the common room. I stayed in a four bed en suite and the bed was merely ok. The hostel seems to have lots of activities and suggestions, although I only went pub crawl and walking tour (Brendon, the guide, was awesome).

If you're looking for a party place and you don't bother with not-so-clean hostel, this is the one. That was not my case and the garbage on my shared dorm and the sticky floor and tables on the breakfast area next morning were an unpleasant surprise. As for the rest, great and helpful staff, great security, confortable beds, no other complaints!

Very good hostel, clean, modern and excellent beds. Have stayed in this one and another top one in SF, and would definitely recommend this over "the other"

The breakfast room seems to double for a party room. When I arrived for breakfast it was filthy and there was nothing set out to eat. Very noisy at night (earplugs are a necessity).

Almost everything was wonderful! The only thing was that it was very noisy when we were trying to sleep. Karaoke Night was going on right below our room, so we couldn't get to sleep until late. Just bring earplugs, and you'll be fine.

Very good and well organized hostel. Good for people under 25 IMHO (not exactly me) Party almost every night with free beer, wine, vodka, etc. Breakfest is not the greatest, but it's a hostel, right?

Great Hostel! Highly recommended! I would definitely stay again! The only negative is beware of the airport shuttle service! The driver almost took a car load of us out on an exit ramp median (his driving was insane!)!!! This hostel needs to utilize a safer shuttle service.

One of the best hostels i've stayed at. Only thing is that one of the lockers in the room was broken, so no topscore on security.

Friendly staff with plenty of ideas for what to do in San Francisco. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. The location - within a short distance from Downtown - is perfect (just don't walk directly south through Tenderloin at night, walk east to Powell St).

I stayed a few nights through the week. This hostel is very clean and the staff is very nice and organized. All processes were painless and I would definitely recommend friends to stay here.

One of the best stays at a hostel I have ever had. I was worried about the location due to other reviews and because I was traveling alone, but it is a typical downtown neighbourhood. Yes there are homeless people out, but I never felt unsafe. Very accessible for transit too. Lots of activities everyday and while there was plenty of music and drinking in the common areas, the rooms were very quiet. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a inexpensive place to stay in San Francisco.
