Despite its name it is far from Ubud. About 20-30 min away. Never got the computer with Internet despite my repetitive requests for the wifi stick we were sharing with the other buildings. Not a big deal. I enjoyed it there. Very quiet and great for couples looking for more seclusion, while still being in reach of Ubud.

We loved Ubud Hideaway. The location is about 30 minutes outside of Ubud and there is NOTHING within walking distance. This is a fantastic thing. They offer free shuttles into Ubud proper with a variety of pick up and drop off times. The staff was very friendly and extremely understanding when we forgot what day it was and had to recheck in. All in all, a great place to stay as long as you don't want all the hustle of Ubud at your doorstep.

this place is so difficult to find. dont expect to find it easily, definetly get in touch first and arrange to get picked up from town.. this will save a lot of money and time! wasnt impressed with food either, so i would eat before coming back to the hostel. nice room and bathroom however. and getting a free ride into town each day is very helpful!

The staff were wonderful, and the rooms were clean and great. When we first arrived and saw our room (3 person room), we were worried that we made a mistake and accidentally booked an expensive villa because we couldn't believe how nice our room was and how cheap it was. Sara was the one that helped us the most, and she was great. We had a wonderful experience here!

First off, I didnt end up staying here because we couldn't find the place at all! My friend and I spent 4 hours in a cab (don't get me started on how much that cost!!) scrambling all over the Ubud landscape looking for this place. It truly is well hidden. No road signs, nothing whatsoever. In the end I ended up cancelling my booking. We found a much nicer place in Ubud itself with a great breakfast and service to boot! It really is way out of the way, and definitely not worth the savings.
