Nice, clean hostel with friendly staff. Due to its location near the mo chit bus bus station, it's not really a party hostel. it's difficult to meet other travelers here because most people are just staying for one night before they go to Mo Chit or Don Mueang airport. If your goal is to get a good nights sleep before traveling, this is your hostel. The only con - there is nowhere to put your clothes/possessions to keep them dry while you shower.

Very peacefull place close to a skytrain station. There is a real thai restaurant close to hostel that is amazing.

Clean, friendly, thoughtfully designed, generally reliable Internet. A bit of a spartan aesthetic. Not the cheapest but good value, would recommend.

A real good alternative to the tourist madness around khao san road. Udee is located in a very nice area, you can easily walk to chatuchak weekend market and / or skytrain. people are very friendly and helpful!

We picked this hostel as it was near the bus station (needed to travel to cambodia the next day). Very expensive for a hostel but very clean, mature feel.

The hostel was very nice once we found it, but was extremely difficult to find based on the written directions they give. It is down a long dark road, so when we were trying to find it at night, we didn't feel comfortable walking down it so far not knowing for sure we were in the right place. They need a sign on that road, coming off the main road to reassure travelers they need to head down that way. Once we arrived, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and helped us get a taxi to DMK!

Our experience of Udee Hostel was really good. Nice, helpfull and friendly staff. The location is not central, but we saw that as a plus. It gave us an opportunity to experience a more authentic side of Bangkok. Just 3-4 min walk from the hostel, local food stands is to be found in great variation. I would recommend Udee to any visitors looking for a quiet place to stay in Bangkok, not overrunned by tourism.

great quite place to stay. I booked a private room for my first few nights in Bangkok, and it was closer to a hotel than hostel. Very clean, friendly staff, and a beautiful little courtyard to have breakfast in. WiFi works well, and the sky train is a short ten minutes walk away. This definitely isn't the place to party or count on meeting other people, but I would be back due to its location and facilities. They also have a helpful bulletin board to help you navigate the city.

It's a very cosy hostel, clean en quit. But it's a "long" way from the center of BKK. Not a problem, just jump in one of the taxis, tuk-tuks, busses or hop on the backseat of a motorcycle-taxi(waiting on street corners wearing a orange vest)

Lovely place, helpful staff, very impressed! Close to the skytrain that goes to the airport and bus and train stations, and to the weekend market. So it's great if you specifically want to go there (I did), but really far from other tourist attractions. (Tip: get the name of Chatuchak Market written in Thai to show taxi drivers -- apparently the way Westerners pronounce it is really hard for them to understand!)

Very nice hostel with great facilities and friendly helpful staff. It isn't the most central hostel, but it's close to the skytrain so it doesn't matter much. There are also alot of local buses nearby, which is an exciting experience to try out. The only negative remarks is that the breakfast isn't as filling as one could hope for, and that you can hear some noise from the corridor in the room. Also don't book the tour to Damnoen Saduak floating market. It is very VERY bad.

- One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at - The owners were super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Since we were looking for an apartment in Bangkok they even helped us with contacting the owners of different apartment buildings but also with organizing day trips to locations around Bangkok. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and furnished very charming. Since this hostel has not so many rooms there is an familiar and lovable atmosphere!
