It is an SYHA hostel so I did not expect much more than the bland corporate feel that has been described to me by everyone who has worked/stayed in a member of the YHA. they were right; good location, nice facilities, but boring. SYHA should be called SYF&GHA for Scottish Young Family and Grandparents Hostel Association. I think I was the only one there between ages 15 and 30.It is an SYHA hostel so I did not expect much more than the bland corporate feel that has been described to me by everyone who has worked/stayed in a member of the YHA. they were right; good location, nice facilities, but boring.
