Great hotel with quick metro access to manhattan. Very nice bathroom or should i say very nice shower_room. However the room itself was kind of small but maybe all nyc hotel are like that. We were nicely treated and got extra blanket on demand.

Friendly staff. Very Clean. Easy to navigate city. Wasn't expecting the additional city tax.

The Union Hotel was perfect for what I needed, because I was going to a convention during the day. Not a place that I would stay if I were on a recreational trip in NYC. I felt mostly safe walking around the park slope streets at night, but there was really nowhere to go within the distance I wanted to walk. Positive: The room was always clean, and I had a private shower, TV, and Heater Negative: No common room, cold showers, and the internet did not work on my PC

The checkout time is too early. The staff was okay not hospitable as expected. However, if you are looking to stay at a decent place for a decent price when on a budget I would recommend going here.

Very polite and friendly staff. Room was clean and had great view of lower Manhattan. Great location near all the Park Slope cafes and shops.

The hotel itself was perfect: a tiny room, yes, but it was very clean, comfortable, and elegant. There was no remote for the fancy flat screen TV and the free internet was quite slow in the evenings, but the free breakfast (served a block away at a cafe) was great. A real breakfast. And the staff at the cafe were wonderful. I absolutely cannot say the same of the staff at the Union Hotel. The day receptionist was ridiculously rude. He overcharged me and wouldn\'t let me show him my hostels.com receipt.
