Directions to Union Square Backpacker's Hostel

From Greyhound:
Take 38 Geary Muni bus west and exit at Geary and Taylor. (Walgreens)
Walk across Taylor and then half a block up towards Post to Derby,behind the werwick l regency
From SFO Airport:
Take the KX or 392 Samtrans into San Francisco exit at 5TH and Mission. Walk across Mission and proceed through Market. As a point of reference, Powell is on the right side. Walk through Powell for a few blocks until you see Geary.

Walk west two blocks to Taylor and turn the corner towrds Post. Half a block up will be Derby street.


Another way:

BY SUBWAY/METRO
Get on the BART metro/subway train from its in-airport station (@SFO, from OAK you'll need to take free shuttle to the Oakland BART station) and get on a train that's coming towards San Francisco and get off at the Powell Street Station; Walk 2.5 blocks on the Powell Street and turn Left on Geary; Walk 2 blocks on Geary and turn Right on Taylor and Right again very soon thereafter on Derby Lane.

LOCATION (BY CAR)
Basically it is in the first alley/lane on the right hand side before Post Street but after Geary Street if you are coming northwards (with the direction of traffic) on the one-way Taylor Street; You'll know where to go once you are on the corner of Geary and Taylor.
