An average hostel. It wouldn't be my first choice as a hostel but its a good price for a bed to sleep in plus a free breakfast.

I have done a lot of travelling and have stayed at many hostels all over the world, but this was definitely one of the worst. Everything at the hostel seemed to be broken, including the showers, stove, and chairs. When I arrived, the staff were not very welcoming and seemed a bit unfriendly (although later I did met some more helpful, friendly staff). If every other hostel in San Fransisco wasn\'t completely booked, I proably wouldn\'t have stayed here after my first night.

Despite it\'s shady demeanor, it is worth spending a night or two here. The men at the desk are really lovely too.

It was dirty and had terrible facilities for the price that we paid for it. The location was awesome and the staff were friendly

In General, Just FILTHY. Bed bugs probable. Room was clean other than bed bugs. kitchen is garbage, fridge was nasty. barely any cooking utensils... Also the staff had a yelling match three nights out of four.. stank like marijuana, the people were grungy.. thats all! THANKGOD It was so cheap.

Most of the people I met here were really nice and fun and we had quite a few nights of hanging out in the common room drinking and laughing, which was fun. The accommodations are somewhat dirty though and not very desirable. Would come back for the people but not the facilities. And the staff was okay.

The only good thing is the location. It is cold cause some windows are broken. Staff is unfriendly. One of the bedsheets had BLOOD on it so we didnt use any of their stuff. Overall, a very disgusting stay which is not even cheap.

nice place and good location

The Hostel was enjoyable because it's small and you have the chance to meet everyone else that's there. However it isn't kept very clean and I was lucky to have a hot shower on some occasions. If perhaps more money was invested into keeping the hostel presentable they could charge a little extra, but in reality you are paying for what you get and there are always plenty of other options.

This was the worst hostel I've seen while my three month travel: I had bedbugsbites all over my body on the next morning. Also the staff was very unfriendly and the "Continental Breakfast" was very bad. The kitchen and the bathroom were really ugly and dirty, so I can definetely say: Don't go there!!!

horrible place, we were even too disgusted to take a shower, because it was so dirty and sketchy. we stayed in a mixed 4 persons dorm and at the end they let one more person stay in there. the walls and the beds were moldy, it was just gross.
