I would certainly not recommend United hostel. The only positive to the hostel is that the place is clean. Apart from that - the rooms are very hot, when asking for a fan got a rude response, and when I complained that the bathroom smelt of sewage from the drain , I got the response 'it's a hostel what do you expect. Rain water was coming out light fittings during my stay .Next to a mcdonalds/ xxx Internet cafe. Has terrible wifi. Food was stolen from the fridge.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Nice beds, big lockers and really close to trainstation. Cheep hostel that are totally worth the money. If I'm coming back to Frankfurt I will stay here again
The windows of the room I got don't open and it felt like a sauna. Other than that I'm happy with the service.
I thought from the pictures that this was going to be a party hostel with lots of young people. I was very wrong. Went to the chill out room to see if there was anyone around and it was just older people. There is also no ac in the rooms so it is very hot
pros: I needed a close place to train station and it was at a perfect distance, city cenyter is also in wlaking distance, I need to mention the beds they were the most comfortable beds I ever slept on in a hostel. Lockers were huge even my backpack (75 liters) easily fit. (consider bringing your own padlock), there was a plug in for each bad. cons: kitchen facilities should be increased, the rooms need more air so there should be ac or fan at the ceiling
Cool looking hostel and very close to main train station. Would recommend
Everything great except the room was really hot, and sleeping with The window open was very noisy
Nice hostel to stay in if you are stopping over one night. Lacked atmosphere.
I don't like this place ... It's a little weird...
The room is very clear and cozy but only have bathroom without toilet actually not so convenient , they have menu for drinks and i wanted a cocktail but nobody can do that that's quite disappointed .
Didn't feel too safe here, although i had no security problems. It was hot in frankfurt the night i spent here, but the room was boiling hot with no air flow. I slept in a puddle of sweat. Preferred the hostel i stayed at around the corner called five elements
It was a good hostel, staff made it even better. They were very friendly and welcoming. You need a friendly face when travelling about. Sometimes it can be daunting. The location was okay, it was good because it was so close to the station so easy to find. But the Central location also made it loud and very very hot. Our rooms were pleasant, although we had no choice but to sleep on top bunk, the heat was unbareable. But over all a good stay.
Neighborhood is really sketch. Good for one night.
2 min walk from Central station. there is no a/c so if it's hot out double that temperature for your room. right downtown and the street over is really sketchy I wouldn't recommend going out alone. the hostel itself is pretty nice though
Internet strength wasn't great, but the hostel was extremely secure and easy to get to from the train station
I think it's nice to stay for traveling. I was satisfied with breakfast:) (I paid 4,5 euro)
Nice hostel in a good location - 2 minute walk from the main train station, short walk to Innerstradt and Sachsenhausen districts. Immediate vicinity is a bit rough - the red light district is one street over and we saw somebody get mugged at the train station. Attitude of the staff isn't great - we had to wait 20mins to get served for a bottle of water whilst one member of staff sat looking at his laptop. Also was short changed on receiving deposit back.
