Amazing hostel that was really clean and in a prime location to everything. Staff was always helpful and gave great recommendations. Free coffee, hot chocolate and tea all day was a great perk.
On another note. Couples travelling together: Don't sleep in the same bed. a) everyone can hear what you're doing b) its really disrespectful and c) everyone will hate you.Amazing hostel that was really clean and in a prime location to everything. It was a great week at Unity Hostel, I would deffinetly recomend it, espectially if you want to check out the bars and clubs in Pest, and meet people from all around the world. What makes this hostel great is the atmosphere (friendly staff and communal area makes it feel like you are living in a big apartment) and location (heaps of cafes etc around). The dorms themselves are OK - try to get the 6-bed dorm without ensuite upstairs as it is nicer. The shower situation was a bit annoying because the dorms are mixed, as are the bathrooms, meaning that if you don't want to get dressed in front of the opposite gender you must do so in the shower cubicle itself. This hostel is simply the best one either of us have ever stayed in! We met there 3 years ago on the awesome balcony upstairs. We had an excellent time- everyone staying there mingled and we made friends with people from all over the world. Last weekend Henry planned a surprise trip back to Budapest, where he proposed to me on the balcony!!! Needless to say we adore the place! The staff is amazing and friendly and it's close to all of the main attractions of Budapest and they have breakfast!This hostel is simply the best one either of us have ever stayed in!
