Great little hostel! With an even better location! Although it's hidden away, it is easy to find with their directions. Very friendly and helpful staff, which adds to the nice homely feel of the hostel. Good facilities in the kitchen, tea coffee available all day. It's great to be able to come home to a quiet sleep after exploring Budapest! I stayed here for 4 days and would highly recommend it to anyone!

A decent hostel in Budapest, with a nice location between some major attractions. The staff were very helpful. The place is really two apartments that are connected by a balcony which can make it seem like you're disconnected from the other side of the hostel, which makes meeting people somewhat difficult. Breakfast is included, as well as free coffee throughout the day. They have laundry service and they even folded our clothes for us!

A little hard to find at first (top floor of an apartment building) but worth it. Great hostel with really friendly staff.

The hostel is situated in the Jewish Quarter, wich is the heart of Budapest's nightlife. It is a little hard to find at first, since there is not really any sign of a hostel. You have to be careful and look for the right address. Breakfast was simple but good and the staff was very friendly and helping. They charge 500 HUF for a towel, wich is not much. The downside is that the room could not be locked but lockers are available and you can ask at the reception for a lock.

Great hostel, great staff. Very clean, nice atmosphere and a wonderful location just near the Octagon with all the bars and restaurants, Metro stop etc etc 100% positive about the place.

Friendly helpful staff, but atmosphere as lacking. Noise ban after 10, since it is situated in a residential area. Not an overly social place and not too easy to meet people, but there was a kitchen and small common area. Bad showers and my sheet wasn't very clean. More linen please. Price was fairly affordable i think.

Well, is really great!!! Budapest is full of party, culture, places to see and food to taste! So, I can recommend you this place, is cool, the breakfast is good, the personal is great (specially one girl with short hair, she´s awesome!) and the place is kinda hidden, but you will not regreat :D If I could, I will go back to that place :)

Good points: - Awesome location, there are lots of stores nearby, money exchange; - 6min walk from the subway station; - Quiet building (not good for partying though); - Good breakfast (included). Bad points: - The lockers where a little bit small; - The showers from men and women are together, only divided by some curtains; - The bathrooms didn't lock so you had to hold the door while there. - Small elevator; All in all, seems like a big house, everything is clean, the staff are nice.

Two men tried to rob me in the buildings hallway at night, but fortunately were not successful. Nevertheless Unity Hostel is a nice place to stay.

I was there for three nights. Booked a double room for myself. Warm bed, clean room, clean bathrooms, but honestly the greatest asset in this hostel is the location (VERY CENTRAL) and it's staff. The staff was sooo nice and went out of their way to make my stay in Budapest as comfortable as possible. Giving me tips and helping me out even to print my bus tickets! They are amazing! If I ever go back to Budapest, I'll stay there again.
