they should clean third floor more often, it was quite dirty!

They gave us a double room just for ourselves even though we just booked the cheapest dorm rooms. ACE! Very central too. It's onlt hard to find - it looks like a normal building, only on the doorbell you can see a small sign "University Club"

The people that work there are great! location is not the best but still easy to get any where due to madrids metro. A all round 7/10

Quiet hostel, good if you're in the city for a weekend away to visit a friend. The hostel is in the main bar area of madrid so convenient to get back at night. Staff friendly and genuine.

Just awful, the worst of the many hostels I've stayed in. It is very hard to find, and when I did, no one answered the doorbell for a long time. The receptionist was extremely unfriendly and rude, and spoke no English despite it advertising in English on this English-language international website. The showers were absolutely revolting, and the whole room locked instead of the (clear!) cubicles. I once had to wait a long time to use the male ones, only for a female receptionist to emerge.

Would have been hard to recognise since there is no sign but I was lucky to be seen by the manager who took me to the hostel right away :) Clean, spacious ccomodation with nice people. I especially appreciated the hairdryer, big desk, internet and cupboards. Good location in typical madrileno Chueca with wonderful rooftop bar just across the street!

I had to wait for 1.30h to have somebody to check me in. To make matters worse, when the other girls left the dorm my room was turn into a guy's dorm because nobody had mention my arriving... generally speaking this hostel made my stay in Madrid really adventurous... So whoever doesn't like boring holidays this is the perfect hostel to go!

Nice Hostel clean, very close to the metro station Chueca, good internet, lent me cable to use internet in room. I enjoyed my stay while I was looking for a flat share, I paid for a dorm room and got my own room which was very nice, staff were freindly and looked after my bags after I had checked out. The only thing to bear in mind is it is the double doors opposite the mexican restaurent and is next to a bar, they should put a sign on the door or above, other then that it was great, recommended
