It was nice to stay there for one night. The rooms and the shared bathroom were clean. It's not located in the centre of bath, but there are buses every 10 - 15 minutes. The only thing that I didn't like was the mattress (it was horrible!!)

Felt like I was going to get murdered in a building that sounded like no one else was staying in, which was up the back of the campus. It made me not want to leave my room, which essentially I did only to have a shower... then the lights went out. Photos on hostelworld were of the newer rooms, therefore not an accurate representation of what was provided. Also was waiting 10 minutes while the staff member was chatting on the phone when I was signing out.... which took all of 5 seconds to do.

It was a bit of a nostalgia trip for me as I was a student at Bath in the 80's. Campus much expanded and pleased to note that accommodation is available all year round. I'll certainly be coming back.

not a good place to stay if you are travelling alone and you want to meet new people, cleanliness was ok, very quiet - good place to sleep

We had some problems with finding the accommodation office at the campus, I think the directions on the website should be more specific about that. Initially we thought we were supposed to go to the main student accommodation services office, luckily we met someone who helped us to find the right place when we got lost.

The single rooms were great value for money more. Less than half the price than the nearest rival I could find. The location was mere 5-8 mins on a bus from the city centre, of which there were 3 services running 3-4 times per hour. Our only grievance was that we were not told that we had security cards in addition to traditional keys. Thus when we returned to our accommodation at night we were locked out and after 5 mins of pannicking, we located the 24 hr security who obligingly let us in.

we arrived at around 4pm and the reception was open, but there was something wrong with the reservation (they thought we would have arrived the day before) and our rooms wern't ready. we went back at midnight, reception closed. security of the university had the keys, but it was not possible to pay by card because the machine didn't work and the bill they had was not right!!! so, after showing the confirmation email, they let us pay what we were expected to pay (cash only) bad organisation!!!

We vonden de hitte op de kamers en de gang ondraaglijk. Ook zou er op toegezien moeten worden dat er na een bepaald uur geen lawaai meer is. Nu werd er rond het gebouw gefeest tot na 24u.

First the positives - clean, good value accommodation with good facilities (except for the lack of wifi). For such delightful accommodation it is incredibly badly administered. The directions on the Hostelworld site complete with a link to a baffling array of maps are next to useless. All that's needed is a simple map showing the bus and walking route from the city centre to the accommodation office. Staff seemed unaware their own entry on Hostelworld stated breakfast was included.

I had such an amazing time here, i stayed for two nights which was great. The accommodation was so clean!. I really felt safe here, you had a key to lock your room door and a card to access the whole building, the kitchen facilities were good, you had a kettle, cooker etc. The bus to town was every 15 mins, which run late into the evening. The full breakfast was amazing, with coffee and juices. You could access the internet by using the uni library, by giving a £10 refundable deposit.

I absolutely loved staying in the University of Bath. Extremely good value for money, everything clean, I am a 21 year old woman travelling alone and felt completely secure. The staff at the Accommodation offices (beware! There are two!) were very helpful and kind, breakfast was nice (a bit cold but tasty all the same!) and there are good, cheap bus services to the city. I walked most days and I recommend doing it - beautiful views! All in all, it was grand. Thankyou so much!

One ten minute bus ride to the town of Bath, friendly and helpful staff, room minimalist, co-ed shared bathroom facilities (did not like)

There are busses every twenty minutes, but the University is quite far from town. Make sure you plan for that.

It was a bit difficult to find my way around the campus but once I found my house it was ok. Although the bathroom was shared, I could lock it from inside. Everything was clean and tidy. Therefore, I enjoyed the stay at the University of Bath. I had to wait about 1 hr for a bus back to the town as they do not run as often on Sunday and timetable online must have been out of date, but I still managed to do all the major sight seeing and the weekend was well spent.

Did not receive a breakfast voucher that was supposed to be given with the keys and only found out once on the other side of the campus in the queue for food. Need to regulate this system as I ended up paying extra on top of the price of the room for my food. Food was average.

Best value in Bath but being a bit further out it was good that the bus came into campus, own transport is an advantage here.

It was really cool staying in the dorms. You get a very clean room to yourself. It is also very secure. There was also hot breakfast at the restaurant which was really nice. You can easily get to town with a bus on campus (it takes about 10 minutes). I would stay here again.

It was adequate for the price paid. The house I was staying in needed some ventilation.
