The sensitive fire alarms were a bit annoying at 8 in the morning, but the place was overall great. If your looking for a quite place, this is it. If your looking for a lot of socializing, this might not be the place for you.

I was there for work actually (conference). Except the hotels in SECC, this hostel is the best place to stay, and for a fraction of the money. It is super-clean and staff makes everything super-efficient!

I am very happy to stay in this place. I would prefer/recommend to stay at the same place if I get a chance to visit Glasgow again. Staff,Kitchen,Common hall at the reception all are excellent.

There was a lot of noise in the hallways after 10 pm. People were singing, laughing, playing guitar and the staff didn't say anything about it. It's a very clean and well-equiped hostel, but don't expect a lot of sleep. Also quite far from the city centre.

I made several comments about details at reception on departure. Nothing critical but a lot of details capable of improvement.

I asked to be moved from my original room as it smelled like a bathroom. The room was changed within a few hours, to a better, cleaner room. There were several bathrooms and shower areas per room which was great, but they were not always clean and one toilet did not flush properly. Other than this a very safe building (as long as I kept my window shut on the first floor) and a quiet space in which to sleep.

Great place to get a quiet room of one's own. Close enough to the train if you don't have a lot to carry. Easy walking distance from Kelvingrove Gallery; not especially close to the downtown area. Very professional staff. Not a place to meet other travelers (you'll probably never see them).

Here you can find a brilliant stay for a few money. The rooms are really big (1-bed around 12m2), tide and nice. The bed was comfortable, and it was only a few minutes to the city or the museums.
