Iloved my timein the hostel- only quibble was that as an older person I found getting my baggage up to Floor 4 on arrival was a hurdle.

The hostel was really quite good, it only took me a while to find out how to get there by public transport...

A quiet place..not quite buzzing with activity. although i was in when it was quiet. But it was a nice change from a hostel dorm to have a privat room for cheap. Good internet in the rooms. Kitchens were fine. Would definitely stay again

Some things seemed really clean, like the kitchens, but others like the bathrooms, just didn't feel as clean as they should have (not to the point where they looked dirty though). There always seemed to be lots of staff in the office at reception. They leave a note in the room saying that the rooms are only serviced once a week, so just be aware of that. (it's not really a problem, it's just nice to know)

I enjoy staying at the University of Glasgow --Cairncross house because it is always clean, it is centrally located (compared to many residences) and it is very economical. The rooms are large and the free internet is very much appreciated! I always stay there when I am in Glasgow, and I will continue to do so in the future.
