It's a bus ride away from the centre but in a nice area, close to the beach. A good way to see an area where the locals live.

Maybe the bathroom could be cleaned more times in a day... People drink and do mess, so, sometimes we need it...

Good location, close to Pocitos beach and easy to take bus to anywhere in Montevideo. I think it's better to be in Pocitos than Ciudad Vieja, because it's an excellent neighborhood, while Ciudad Vieja can be a little bit dangerous at night and it's dirty. About the hostel, for me, it was one of the best positive vibe that I've ever seen! I'm missing that good atmosphere! Good breakfast is served! Helpful staff! As an improvement point would be the showers installations, but the remainder is Ok!

I couldn´t sleep during the two nights we stayed at the hostel. It was crowded, the bathrooms were dirty permanently, the receptionist was very unfriendly. If you like to party all night, go to unplugged hostel. If you want to relax go to another hostel.

if you like to drink beer and making party during your round-a-world-party-trip you will love it here. For people who want to eat local or disover the city there are unfortunatly no information available. The staff is really buisy, so you need put the sheets on the bed your own, for explanations about breakfast and possibilities of transportation is no time neather. Sleep is only possible during the day- as the stuff likes to party itself- so bring earpacks.

Hi! thanks for your comment, we like to hear guests comments and complaits so we can improve day by day. We are very sorry that you couldn't sleep, but you came on Dec 28th, that's New Year's Eve and every single guest wanted to party. By the way, parties are untill 2.00 am, after that people goes to a Bar close to the hostel so other people can sleep well. About the lack of information in the front desk we desagree with you because we give a map of the city to every guest and we explain everything about Montevideo!!! buses, neighborhoods, beaches, night life, safe times to go and where to go, etc... The staff here does their best to make guests stay unforgetable!

The staff was really helpful and nice. However, there were parties every single night, and the parties were very noisy, so it was imposible to fall asleep... It's not a very clean hostel either...

Amazing staff, cool layout, very safe and a cool bar with cheap beer and a lot of character. An awesome stay. Also, the staff were diligent about keeping the place clean which was very much appreciated!

One of the best hostels that I've stayed! I felt welcome and part of the 'Hostel Family' from the first moment. I loved the barbecue at night. It was a great way to meet fellow travelers and hear about their travels around the world. The rooms and the bathrooms were very clean and the location was great, just up in Pocitos. I have happy memories of the staff. They was incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks for the hug! I recommend this place if you are going to Montevideo.

Unplugged hostel pocitos was one of the best hostels i ever stayed in south america!! The staff was on of the friendliest i ever met...nacho,myllene, fred gracias para todo los dias q estuve aca!!! But breakfast can b improved!!

Fantastic staff and facilities. Location was excellent and several nice restaurants and beaches in the area. I would stay here again, but a key to the private room would have been helpful. Also, I thought the price was a bit steep given that the private room had a shared bathroom. Dorms are cramped but cozy. There is a gate in the front, but I am usually more worried about security from fellow travellers than from the outside. Still a solid choice for Montevideo!
