Great, place! The staff are great specially Sara and Valentin, they were kind and very helpful!!! The bathroom is a bit smelly, but it's due the gas used to heat the water.

amazing place ! it's located in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood, close to the beach and restaurants. All the people who works there are really nice, helping you with anything you might need (special gracias to Valentin). There is also a bar downstairs with a brazillian chef/barman who hosts great dinner parties. Really great vibe, made me feel like home with long time friends :-)

While this hostel isn't in the center of town, it's in a very nice area right by the water that makes it somewhat unnecessary to head back into Ciudad Vieja. The staff was great--extremely informative, friendly, and fun, and the bar and asado in the hostel make for a great place to meet people and chill out. All in all a great experience.

Stayed here for a number of days and had a great time, would highly recommend the place. The greatest asset of the hostel are its staff, Ceci, Sarah etc and of course Felipe, who night after night not only provided amazing asados and pizza, but also acted as orchestrator for the nights entertainment!!. He really went out of his way to ensure everyone had a good time and felt part of the proceedings, no matter whether you were traveling alone or in a big group, a real credit to the hostel

Location is great, very nice, quiet and safe neighborhood; 5 or 10 minute walk to the beach. What I disliked the most was the fact that you could not lock your room from the outside.

Clean, secure and very nice hostel. Friendly , helpful staff and I would highly recommend bar hang-around and participation in the superb dinners being served, Felipes asado is great. Will definitely return to this hostel next visit in Montevideo.

Great place to stay in Montevideo, specially if you're travelling solo. Very easy to get along with people, with lots of common areas, nice atmosphere and parties. But they hide the share of problems the hostel has: no fans or air conditioning in the rooms, in a city that reaches 40ºC in summer; the showers couldn't keep the temperature (one second the water is freezing and the other it's burning you); and even the room's door was really noisy, impossible not to wake up your roommates.
