One of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in! Receptionist was rude and told us she can't understand Australians and that we need to work on our Spanish, one bathroom for a whole floor of rooms-absolutely filthy! No locks for doors, kitchen dismal & don't bother with breakfast it's just bread and usually all gone well before breakfast is supposed to finish!

This hostel is not comfortable. I stayed in a four bed shared room that was dirty and dingy. The walls are lined with foam and the moths circling the overhead light is inches away from your face (if not on you) when you sleep on the top bunk bed. Find another place to stay.

Very cute hostel with a good atmosphere which will make you feel at home immediately. I found it easy to meet other people as there. The staff is lovely and helpful and always smiling. The dorm to the front can get a bit noisy as it is close to the entrance. Kitchend and other facilities are fine.

Pros: good location, cheaper than other options, Cons: Staff useless and unhelpful, non stop parties til 4am with music pumping non stop all day and night, toilets and showers never clean, rooms with no fans and very very hot, kitchen small and badly equipped. better options elsewhere. Hot rooms with no draft or air movements, makes more sense to stay up all night as too hot to sleep, but in the day still hot in rooms. no where to go! maybe sleep at the beach would actually be better?

The hostel feels very cramped and is grubby. Its in a good loaction and has a bar (the music goes on late) There are better options to stay at (ukulele would be my tip)

The facilities were rather small for the amount of people that were there. The location is perfect. The staff was not very willing to work, except for the guy who received us the first day, Erasmus. The rooms were not really clean. I would definitely go back to Montevideo, but I would stay somewhere else in the same area.

The staff was amazing, everybody was really helpful and kind, everything else was ok. Our room was kind of adapted from a garage, I don't know the other rooms, I assume their're better. Good value for money.

The staff was really helpful. The bar was a perfect spot to drink and have a great time with the other backpackers.

I stayed there between 24 - 26 December. The temperature was 33 C and the rooms were stuffy and hot. Loud music was played by the staff and they were making a lot of noise until about 4am every day. They were talking loudly with no regards for the other guests that wanted to sleep. Staff seemed very preoccupied with talking amoungst themselves rather than attending to guests. This is the worst hostel that I have ever stayed in my entire life.

We really enjoyed staying at this hostel. It has a great location, in a relaxed neighborhood, but near bars and restaurants, near the beach, and quick bus ride to the center. The staff are incredible, and really make you feel like you are among friends. The hostel is very comfortable, has great vibes, and is really conducive to meeting people. The only recommendation would be to install fans, as the one day is was hot it was hard to sleep. Overall, this hostel is highly RECOMMENDED.

Hostel was nice and suited our needs, as we were looking for an affordable place to stay a few nights with short notice. The dorm room was too small for the size of bunks placed in the room, as the door brushed the bunk every time it was opened. The staff also seemed preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves rather than providing assistance to the guests but overall it was a friendly and welcoming place. We felt very safe and were satisfied with the room.
