if you like to drink beer and making party during your round-a-world-party-trip you will love it here. For people who want to eat local or disover the city there are unfortunatly no information available. The staff is really buisy, so you need put the sheets on the bed your own, for explanations about breakfast and possibilities of transportation is no time neather. Sleep is only possible during the day- as the stuff likes to party itself- so bring earpacks.

The staff was really helpful and nice. However, there were parties every single night, and the parties were very noisy, so it was imposible to fall asleep... It's not a very clean hostel either...

Amazing staff, cool layout, very safe and a cool bar with cheap beer and a lot of character. An awesome stay. Also, the staff were diligent about keeping the place clean which was very much appreciated!

One of the best hostels I stayed in south america. Nice location, close to the beach and most of what you´ll need. Great staff, super helpful and friendly. Don´t miss their assado, just great! I definitely recommend it!

One of the best hostels that I've stayed! I felt welcome and part of the 'Hostel Family' from the first moment. I loved the barbecue at night. It was a great way to meet fellow travelers and hear about their travels around the world. The rooms and the bathrooms were very clean and the location was great, just up in Pocitos. I have happy memories of the staff. They was incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks for the hug! I recommend this place if you are going to Montevideo.

Fantastic staff and facilities. Location was excellent and several nice restaurants and beaches in the area. I would stay here again, but a key to the private room would have been helpful. Also, I thought the price was a bit steep given that the private room had a shared bathroom. Dorms are cramped but cozy. There is a gate in the front, but I am usually more worried about security from fellow travellers than from the outside. Still a solid choice for Montevideo!

Clean dorm. Super friendly staff. Just for my taste a bit too noisy as the party went down until 5-6am both nights I was there. And that entrance bell is just too annoying!

Unplugged is a great hostel for meeting other travelers from around the world. By night, this place turns into quite the social scene for guests, complete with beer and asado. The free breakfast is a disappointment compared to other hostels in South America, but the staff members here are very friendly and helpful.

Nice hostel but the dorms are quite small and stuffy.

Overall my stay was great and really enjoyed the people at the Hostel (esp the parella). My only complaints are that the bar didn't have any of the advertised mixed drinks, there don't appear to be any clothes washing facilities, and the bikes available for rent were very uncomfortable and poorly maintained, esp considering they cost as much as the room!

The breakfast shoud be better and the house could be cleanner. Sometimes you did not find toilet paper in the bathroom. But I reccomend anyway.

the staff was super chill and always ready to help, and the asado was the best i've had out of my 6 months of being in uruguay. felipe's asado should be known worldwide.

Great hostel. Only a few minutes walk from the beach. About a 20 minute bus ride from the old town. The staff are very cool.
