Great location to chill out after the pace of Buenos Aires. Not central but ideal for a quiet beach life.Great location to chill out after the pace of Buenos Aires. Not central but ideal for a quiet beach life....Close

The crew is really nice and helpfull, the bar is a really good addicional for the fun at the hostel, is where you can drink really good beers and have a nice talk with the crew and the other guests. But most of the toillets and the bathrooms are not really clean and confortable. The Pocitos neiborhood is excellent the best place in Montevideo. If you want to go to the Uruguay's capital, the Unplugged Hostel is the best place to stay. The crew is really nice and helpfull, the bar is a really good addicional for the fun at the hostel, is where you can drink really good beers and have a nice talk with the crew and the other guests. Uno de los mejores hostels que he visitado! Con un joven staff, siempre atento. Buena onda entre todos los huespedes. En el mejor barrio de Montevideo, al lado de la playa, seguro y con 3 buses que conectan con el centro.LO RECOMIENDO!

One of the best hostels I have ever visited! With a young and nice staff, always attentive. Good vibes between all the guests. Best neibourghood of Montevideo, closed to the beach, safe and conected to the city centre with 3 buses. I REALLY RECOMEND IT!!Uno de los mejores hostels que he visitado! We reserved the private room with a bathroom and, unfortunately, it is directly above the common area of the hostel. There is a giant hole in the floor of the room covered by a piece of wood and some thin sound blocking. The kids downstairs were up drinking and watching TV all night, which is expected in a hostel, except that we could hear EVERY SINGLE sound they made as if they were directly in our room. So they were loud until 2:30am, then breakfast started at 8am. Very little sleep We reserved the private room with a bathroom and, unfortunately, it is directly above the common area of the hostel. - Location and security: Perfect.
- Staff: Perfect. Friendly people and always available to help.
- Rooms: I booked one Private Ensuite and, comparing with other hostels I've been around the world, there are many points to improve like the bathroom, the appearence, TV on the room.
Actually I think they will improve, because they are just starting... I suggest you guys to exchange ideas with other hostels' owners (Portal del Sur in Buenos Aires, Champ de Mars in Montreal and others).- Location and security: Perfect.

The staff was great... very kind and helpful. The hostel was very clean and cosy. In only one day you already feel at home. The location is great too, there is a market nearby and also a restaurant and a beautiful beach feel blocks from the hostel. It is a litle bit far from downtown, but you can take a cheap taxi to there...no problems about that. I really recommend this hostel to anyone who would like to visit Montevideo. The staff was great... very kind and helpful. The hostel was very clean and cosy. In only one day you already feel at home. Nice and solid new Hostel in MVD. I was here in the low season, so can't really comment on the fun factor. Run by a nice group of young people. It's a new hostel, and they still learn about this business, so give them some credit, the try hard. It's safe, quiet, clean in a good location (but not downtown!!). Offers WIFI,Bar breakfast and bike rental. I'm sure it will be a good place in the future. Would recommend and come back any time.
