Just as last time I stayed at Kvarntorget I found the showers quite dirty. I am convinced that this is due to disrespect from other guests and not because of hostel staff. I believe that more information is needed in order to make guests understand that it is NOT a hotel and that other people share the same bathrooms, showers and kitchen. Second comment: Free access to wifi means nothing since it was impossible to load a single web page. To heavy traffic, I assume.

It was a nice place to stay. Sometimes it was a little noisy during the evenings but other than that it was pretty good.

Turned out room was a bit cold (no radiator) so next time I'll make sure to ask for a blanket..! On the flipside, I overslept and missed the 11am check-out time...! But, the member of staff who patiently knocked on my door until I woke told me I could use 30 minutes to get ready before checking out, and I was not charged for a second night which think was very flexible and friendly of them! (Despite checking out almost 1 hr after checkout time). It's clean, friendly and modern, will use again!

It's a very good place to sleep at. There was some internet connection problems as well but it solved itself. I hope that I'll have a room with functioning blinds next time, they could not be adjusted at all leaving 1/3 of the window lightened. I just likes to sleep in a dark place. Good that bed linen is included now.

The standard of the double bed rooms are very good, like average hotel standard, but with the hostel kitchen as a bonus for those who want to cook their own food. For people looking for a comfortable but cheap room I couldn´t think of a better value/price balance.

The staff did not give good and clear information at check-in. Doors were squeaky and disturbing.

The hostel did not have enough shower and toilet facilities to support the number of guests. One toilet floor was covered in toilet paper and sanitary towels while the other had blood stained hand towels. Most of the shower heads in the shower rooms were broken meaning you had to hold the shower head at all times. The room we were in had some sort of generator next to it and was incredibly noisy 24/7.

The hostel is not very close to the Central Station. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the hostel. There are not enough lockers for everyone in the room. It's also inconvenient that the reception doesn't sell padlock. There are only two computers at the lounge, which is obviously not enough!!!!! The computers are also old and slow. But then if you are only looking for a bed in town, the hostel could be a nice choice.

I stayed there just for 3 nights, and the second night I just couldn´t sleep because of the noise of doors closing. The automatic closing system makes the doors close with too much strenght, and too much noise! Maybe you could change that!
