We had a great time in Urban central, very clean safe environment, will definietly be reccommending to people!!

We had a really good stay at this hostel but I think we drew a short straw with the room as there were no windows and it had huge pipes running along the ceiling. The free breakfast is awesome, as is the free rice and pasta! Staff were really nice and helpful. Oh and you get a free towel to use which is an extra bonus.

dont understand why there is a check in time selection when you book when all check ins are at 2pm. I showed up at 10am according to my email from hostelworld and was told check ins were at 2. However the place is pretty secure, 24 hr reception and its a reasonable walk to crown and into the city.

A very nice place to stay!

The rooms were spotless and had.plenty of space. Location great and plenwelly of info on what to do. 24 hour reception as well do no complaints it was one of the best hostels I ve stayed in.

This was a really good hostel, it was clean and secure and the location was great. Walking distance to everything. I also really liked that there was a power outlet in your own locker. This means that you can charge your stuff while it is locked up.

Some staff were being really rude and definitely not helpful, almost heartbreaking. It was weird that staff again was not caring who takes the storage key was shocking.

Very unhelpful staff. No information for tourists, I couldn't even get a map of Melbourne. I asked if there was anything happening in the area during my stay, and got a "nup" in reply. This hostel is not for tourists. Many live there long term and so have already formed groups of friends, not being very friendly and welcoming to outsiders. Don't go here if you want to meet people. Stay in st kilda.

Staff were friendly and helpful MOST of the time. Rooms were clean and the lockers, free towels and own plug socket were very useful. 5min walk from CBD, Woolworths, Markets and Crown entertainment complex. Free breakfast, rice and pasta were very nice and the bar was nice to chill as it wasn't pumping music so if you didn't fancy going you could still sleep. A few downsides, kitchen got very dirty sometimes and was extremely small and showers a bit temperamental with hot water. Would stay again

Really nice Hostel, but the room price is a little bit to havey

I live in MElbourne but my friends and I stay here when we want too have a night in the city. The private rooms are just as nice as any big hotel and much cheaper. I have stayed here a number of times :)

good location, good stuff there

Excellent location , walking distance to casino, staff was very friendly. Only drawback was lack of parking facilities had to pay $8 per night of parking.
