It's no frills and no-nonsense, located perfectly, it's definitely the best place for seeing Samui on budget.

The Italian restaurant downstairs is really delicious and so fresh, and the ice cream too. Cyril, the owner, is so friendly (and nice to look at lol) and the location is a short walk to the beach and not far to the main clubs, about 10-15 mins. Only issue is that there was only one key for the two of us which caused a bit of difficulty! Would deffo stay here again even so.

The room we stayed in was great value for money and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is also amazing, would deffinitley recommend eating there. Unfortunately, we experienced a power cut and loss of water during our stay, but the owner was very apologetic about it!

Nice clean rooms in a central location close to everything, and te pasta and home made Icr cream is a must try!!!

i'm russian and it was my 1st experience in hostel and i was pretty satisfied. Rooms are refreshed and colored to funny colors, price was so cheap for such a room that i got. Beach is just in 5 min from guesthouse!!! Also i liked their breakfast, especially pasta which is home made by chef Kiril, i guess he is the owner of this place. Spasibo :))

We went to Samui not for the first time and stayed in different places. Urban guesthouse is an excellent choice for young travelers, close to the beach and nightlife. The rooms are newly renovated, clean, staff is friendly. Special thanks to the chef Seril and his tasty pasta and ice-cream!We'll come back to stay there again

We stayed there 3 nights, the owner was really nice and helpfull and he speaks french, italian, spanish and english(at least). Good location, 2 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk from all the good clubs+bars. The room was very basic and the bathroom was so so. Its ok for the price we paid! Good pasta joint too.
