Great setup, really nice to have a quiet guesthouse-like experience. Clean, comfortable They have a good setup.

Perfect place. Not luxury, but good value for money in manhattan, excellent location, close to all.

The staff was helpful, friendly and outgoing. It smelled fresh and clean each evening when we returned home. I've stayed in hostels in other cities where other guests were more outgoing, forming short term friendships. Peace, quiet and calm reinforced by gentle jazz playing early and late made the stay refreshing. ideally located 2 minute walk from empire state and 5 from the flat iron, i was delighted with the location, felt secure and loved every minute there.

Fantastic, clean hostel in the middle of Manhattan and two blocks from Penn Station. Can't beat it for the price. Definitely better than staying in a motel in Jersey or Brooklyn. Morning showers get backed up sometimes, and only if a guest decides to take a shower for a ridiculous amount of time. Other than that, very happy!

Excellent location, 5 minutos walking to the Empire State! They let you hair dryer, umbrella... They have information about the city and they recommend good places to eat and see nearby. We'll come back!

I just thought I was odd that gusts where not allowed to come in the facility !snd also the police could not be allowed upstairs !

Urban oasis was fantastic! I am very happy with my stay. The place is very clean and furnished with modern ikea and ikea-like designs throughout. Unlike other hostels, this is a peaceful relaxed environment and people mostly keep to themselves. everything you need for your stay is availabl and there are even a couple "help youself" sections if you forgot shampoo or need a breakfast on your first day. Friendly staffand clean, large private rooms.

The people working there were great and the place is great as well. The location is ideal for a best timer and the girls are really helpful when it comes to giving directions or recomendations.

I would recommend this place to anyone who has never been to New York, great location easy to get to the main attractions, people at Urban Oasis were very friendly, We are returning there again in the Summer and hopefully staying again at Urban Oasis. We were very happy with their hospitality great place to stay highly recommended.

When we first walked up to the building, we were a little hesitant about what to expect. But once upstairs, the hostel is beautiful. The staff was friendly and gave us so many pamphlets with things to do! The rooms were big and the bathrooms were very clean. After the first night, we were calling it home. I would chose this hostel over a cheap hotel any day. And by the end of the week, we didn't want to leave.

Great hostel in a great location (right between broadway and 5th avenue). A 5 min walk to empire state building and macy's. 10 min walk to penn station for arriving from newark international airport. A little pricey for a hostel (shared bathroom)compared to other cities we have stayed in but great compared to other places in New York.

Staff concerned about gests, I was treated perfectly.

I had an absolutely brilliant stay at Urban Oasis and would recommend it to travellers on any budget. The staff were friendly and helpful, it's in a fantastic location (walking distance to most major attractions) and it is modern and well equipped inside.

Really clean hostel walking distance to most things you want to see. A bonus was the handouts they have with directions and recommendations from burgers to things to do. Would definitely recommend to anyone stays in New York. One of the best hostels we have ever stayed in.

This was a great hostel, located right where you want to be. The facilities are great, the only problem are the toilets, given that some guests do not pay attention to the multiple warnings about clogging on the toilets.

Nothing special as you walk in off the street but once on the hostel level it's great. Very clean and great facilities.. Quiet, not a party hostel but loved it. Staff were very friendly and helpful, would stay here again!
