Brilliant place to stay, in the perfect location. Had a fantastic time, would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

It is the perfect place to stay, near everything, great decoration, great staff, noone is exagerating when they say it is one of the best hostel!

This place truly was an oasis. Well, once you get past the front door and dodgy lift when you're thinking, where the hell am I going, you enter into a clean bright large open space, with bean bags to sit in, laptops to use, chilled music playing and coffee on brew for you. The staff were fantastic, any plate you leave in the dish rack is put away immidiately as you turn your back. The bedroom doors have great keypad locks, so you never need a key. The room was really clean, bed was so comfy.100%

Extremely clean IKEA decor - reminds of many (good) hostels in Eastern Europe. The beautiful old radiators, high roofs and wooden floors could have deserved something more characterful. Staff *very* helpful; kindly provided us earplugs as they can't help the noises of constantly renewing midtown - with windows very thin and dirty from the outside. If you want to be in the middle of skyscrapers and touristy desert, this is your place. For more character, look for a location in East Village etc.

This is a really good place to stay, we enjoyed it very much. The location is perfect and the staff ist 100 % friendly. I liked most, that the hostel is very small, so it`s more individually. I`ll definitly would book it again!

For us, Urban Oasis was simple amazing. I would go so far as to say this is the best hostel I have stayed in, taking into consideration that we are both 34 and were not looking for a 'party' hostel but more a hostel to we could call home...and we did. We constantley referred to the hostel as our 'New York warehouse apartment' and the time we actually were at the hostel, we pretty much had it to ourselves. The hostel is kept spotless, staff are constantly cleaning and very helpful.

Urban Oasis is the best hostel that I have been. It is clean, modern, confortable, nice and the location is brilliant. Between 5th avenue and Broadway, I don't need to explain why. The staffs are great, always available to help. The best thing from Urban is about selection, the number of guests are limited and this is the main difference between others hostels and ven hotels in New York. Don't try another one, go to Urban Oasis!

Fantastic place to stay. The staff were wonderful and the facilities were both superbly clean but also on the same level as a high end hotel. All this coupled together with a great central location make it really an easy decision where to stay in NYC.

Very good, clean and relaxed hostel right in the heart of New York City. Easy to find, awesome staff and very clean. We enjoyed our stay there very much and will recommend it to anyone. Urban Oasis is like little jewel. Best hostel where I have ever stayed. I recommed this hostel to people who are looking for good place to sleep and relax.

Excellent hostel, realy nice rooms and it was very clean. We loved all the details in the hostel and the fact that they seemed to have thought about everything from laptops and wifi to hairdryers and free coffee. The only thing we can complain a little bit about are the thin walls, you hear everything outside your room. It wasn't much of a problem though since the other guests where very quiet, and still, if its quiet you want, pay for a luxury hotel or don't go to NYC.
