I really enjoyed the place. The staff were super friendly and good humoured even under great stress. Location is good, not far from the city centre. Although next to a freeway double-glazed windows keep out almost all the noise. Only problem, which would strike any hostel, is that some guests are very messy and that impinges on the others inthe same dorm. Would I go back? YES!I really enjoyed the place. Urban Central is an awesome place, I'd never go anywhere else when in Melbourne. Very good price for what you get, walking distance to the city centre, great atmosphere and so many nice people around. The hostel was very well located, just 5-10 minutes walk from the city. The rooms were spacious and clean. The free breakfast and free BBQ on Monday was good. When we extended our stay it wasn't done properly and consequently we had to move rooms for our last 2 nights. The staff were generally helpful. Turned into a party hostel the 2nd week but other than that an enjoyable stay.The hostel was very well located, just 5-10 minutes walk from the city. The rooms were spacious and clean. This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in and is very safe. I would totally recommend staying here as it's great value for money. The only issue with the place is there is some sort of construction or recycling plant that starts at 5am ever morning and stops about 6am. It's very loud so getting a good nights sleep can be tricky.This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in and is very safe. Awesome hostel, so clean & security is the best i've seen. Rooms are good too, altho i know some people who didnt get a window or as much space so it depends wher they put u!Awesome hostel, so clean & security is the best i've seen. probably the nicest hostel we have stayed at, but the rooms lack hanging space and the white walls and grey carpet wasnt to nice...get some colour in there.the bathrooms were definately the best we have used and the bar had great deals on for drinks and entertainment..have recommended it to others and will come back later in our travels.probably the nicest hostel we have stayed at, but the rooms lack hanging space and the white walls and grey carpet wasnt to nice...get some colour in there.the bathrooms were definately the best we have used and the bar had great deals on for drinks and entertainment..have recommended it to others and will come back later in our travels....Close

very busy place where i met some cool people. security was really good, clean bathrooms and kitchen, and the numerous girls at the front desk were very friendly and knew the area well. one guy at the desk tho, was just super sour for no reason and kind of ruined the whole experience. it was for no reason too...he just seemed bothered by peoples questions.
