Urkmez Hotel Reviews

The staff couldn't be more professional and hospitable. We requested a quieter room and were taken to their Ephesus Suites which was fabulous beyond words. Go there, great breakfasts too.

Lovely hostel in the centre of the pedestrian district with lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. It's a short walk from the bus station. Breakfast was one of the best in Turkey, all the old standards but done very well and with nice touches. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Only downside was a noisy central marble staircase.

Would be great if you accepted GBP, but it's alright, just had to change it at the Post that's next door. :)

The staff there are very nice and helpful. The hotel is very near the bus station, going anywhere is quite convenient. The breakfast they offered was very delicious!

The staff ws fantastic! I had a knee injury and couldn't climb the stairs to breakfast, so they brought it down for me and helped me with my bags. And you can't get much closer to the train and bus stations...the location is very good!

I had a pleasant stay at Urkmez hotel. It has an ideal location - right in the center of the city, 1 min walk from the train station and 5 min walk from the bus station. The owners of the hotel - Juju and Jimmy - were extremely helpful, friendly and hospitable. They have two types of rooms - standard and deluxe. The standard rooms are very simple. The room I had in Istanbul was only slightly more expensive than my room at Urkmez hotel but was a lot better furnished and provided excellent service
