The main drawback to this place is that it`s difficult to get hot water from the showers. The floor boards are also creaky in the bedrooms so you make noise when you walk on them. Apart from that I really liked it here. It`s a cosy hostel located in a charming building and is small enough to meet people. Staff are very friendly and a simple breakfast is provided. The dorms are comfortable and there`s plenty of bedding to cope with Cusco`s cold nights. There`s a computer for guest use too.

VIP House is an excellent place for those seeking a little bit of adventure. Staff members are really helpful. The only small problem is that the guests can get a bit worked up when having a drink downstairs during the night and it can be a difficult to sleep but rather than that it is really a nice place to chill in.

I had a really good time there, the staff were amazing, all of them are so kind, always trying to help and giving you some advices to eat or visit in Cusco. The beds are comfortable and clean, the bathroom has hot water and most of the time is clean. The location is good, you're near to many little restaurants where you can eat delicious and cheap plates, or you can buy something in a supermarket that's just in front. You definitely can trust the staff anytime, if you need help they're there

Not many people around - not a party hostel but had a more friendly, chilled atmosphere. Comfy beds. Good value for money

Love that we were able to leave our stuff in storage while we went on Inca Trail. Thanks!

We only stayed one night here and everything seemed fine, except that we had a double bed and it had very small (I think single) sheets so they came off when we were sleeping. Otherwise we were happy with the night, staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and very big.

Nice staff, good location, the hostel was freezing inside for some reason, much warmer outside. Also, the showers were tricky to get warm water out of. We changed hostels for our last night.

Nicely located hostel with good value. Staff are friendly and helpful. rooms can be very cold however and although advertised with hot water, showers were often cold or luke warm at best.

Nice comfortable and quiet hostel a few blocks from the main square. The sheets on the bed are a little small but they have plenty of communal areas and spaces. They booked our few days in Machu Picchu and were helpful booking our onwards destination.

I booked for two nights, but stayed for 8. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The wifi is the fastest I've found in South America, great for uploading fb photos at last! Free breakfast is basic, but free. Very clean and free lockers. Very peaceful hostel. The only negatives are low water pressure and there isn't a tv. If recommend this hostel to anyone.

Located about 10 minutes walk from the main square and great coffee for breakfast. Thats the best about this hostel. We had a really smelling and cold room. No hot water in our shower and the room was quite loud, so we woke up with the first ones waking up and fell asleep with the last ones.

The staff at the VIP House was friendly and very helpful. They helped me sort out some issues I've had with the travel agency. They were always smiling and made you feel at home. Eduardo was definitely one of the best staff members at any hostels I've been at.

This was a good hostel in every way. I didn't find anything outstanding about it but I have nothing negative to say about it either. If you need a place to stay while in Cusco then I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This hostel is very unorganized. They cancelled my room and tried to put me up in a different hotel (but never contacted me in advance to let me know this), which was much louder than expected. While it is quiet, the facilities are sub-par. They do not have consistent or reliable hot water as they use a "widow-maker" to heat the water rather than a larger tank. The room, while quiet, did not appear as clean as I expected. Not much of an environment to meet other people. I expected better.
