Fantastic. The room was wonderfull, the staff, which donot speak english was very, really very friendly, the breakfast was excellent. The best location from all Japan.

We enjoyed our two nights at this most conveniently located small hotel. It is literally steps from the Nikko train stations. Don`t be put off by the dirty hall rug (though it would be nice if they would clean it!). The room and bathroom were very clean, breakfast was good, and staff was very helpful. The Japanese style rooms have tatami mats, but regular twin beds, not futon.
