Vabriku hostel was really excellent! We really liked the stuff, they were very friendly and hospitable. Bed clothes were clean and our room was really cosy inspite of the fact it was little (but we had WC-and-bathroom unit in our room). There was a wonderful apple garden in front of the house.
There was a kitchen with all necessary staff like a cooker, a microwave oven, a fridge etc, where we could cook whatever we wanted. If we go to this wonderful city again, we will stay at the Vabriku hostelVabriku hostel was really excellent! We really liked the stuff, they were very friendly and hospitable. Definately the higher end of hostels. Perfect for those who need a bit of space after a few weeks of shared dorms. I gave them full marks as it was great just to chill out in a nice room. Location is pretty good in a very nice area just 10 min walk from old town.
The place is Def more of a Bed and brek fast feels like being a house guest, not a good pick if your young and want to party. Perfect for families!
Avoid the friendly ride to the port they offer at reception turns out to be cheaper to take a taxi!

EXCELLENT PLACE, very clean and very nice staff. Well furnished, a nice kitchen and broad backyard with apple trees ideal to have a rest and enjoy the sun. It takes about 10-15min to walk into town but it is not far. The staff were very friendly and it has a home-like atmosphere. very nice place for couples and families - it's not a traditional youth hostel but a separate private house (guesthouse), rooms of which have been transformed into rooms for travellers. Kitchen available so you can cook yourself. And outside terrace where you can take your morning coffee or drink your evening whiskey :) and only 7 min walking from the old city so don't be afraid just because it's not in the very centre.very nice place for couples and families - it's not a traditional youth hostel but a separate private house (guesthouse), rooms of which have been transformed into rooms for travellers.
