Apparently when booking through a third-party for a hotel you need to specially indicate if you want a smoking or non-smoking room! So do so! We got put in a smoking but after a couple requests they put us in a better room, non-smoking with no extra charge. The place is your average hotel but has hot tub and some breakfast stuff, so is great for the price!

Pretty good hotel in the usual Hotel Circle of San Diego. Handy for airport. Not much of an atmosphere but breakfast included. Good value.
