Great place to stay! The staff are rally friendly, making us all feel really welcome and willing to help out. The location is also convenient, as it is down the road from the bus station and has some nice cheap bars to eat at nearby. Also, get them to organise he Black Taxi tour - wel worth it.

Probably the best UK hostel I have stayed in. It was so good I went back to stay another night at the end of my trip. Staff are fun and friendly, big shout out to you guys, your great. Location is great for Belfast. Facilities are really good. Having a Wii to play in chill out time is awesome. It was so nice when the staff brought out a candle and whiskey for my birthday, cheers! It's almost like going to a mates place to stay. I will be going back!

My favourite hostel I've ever stayed at! Lots of character with cool paint colours, art on the walls, etc. Big kitchen so you can cook for yourself. Right in between the bus station and the university so you can walk pretty much anywhere. The staff are cool - they all live there so they are always around and want to get to know you and make sure you have a good time. And there is PEANUT BUTTER and FRUIT at breakfast!!

I really enjoyed our stay at Vagabonds. Our room (6 bed female dorm) was great and eventhough we did not use it a lot it was really nice to relax in the common rooms of the hostel. The breakfast was simple but really good and it was fun to meet other people staying in the hostel. The atmosphere is great especially since it is a small hostel.

I've stayed at Vagabonds several times for longer periods. The staff is international yet knowledgeable about Belfast. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The rooms and showers are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The hostel is well located to explore Belfast by day and night, and staff will show you a good time in local pubs if you join the fun pub crawls. The hostel itself is decorated with an eye for detail and clearly a lot of love. It's very personalised. I can only recommend Vagabonds!

Really nice hostel, well thought out and organised with everything you need. Staff were friendly and it's more like a big house than a hostel, unfortunately that means can have a bit of a cliquey feel and it's small size means it's hard to meet anyone.

Vagabonds was my first stay in a hostel. What a way to start off. The staff are very kind And helpful. The place has character plus. It was so close to the city center that I ended up not even using my two day bus pass!

Basic accomodation with no frills. Clean but not outstanding, zero water pressure in the showers. Staff friendly and answered our questions but offered no additional information. Staff very relaxed but not very professional (eg. when we wantedto check in/out we had to go searching for them throughout the hostel because they never at reception!) Varied atmosphere- a clique of regulars was hard to break into and since its such a small hostel, conversation was thin. This hostel trys hard so 6/10

first of all thanks for the booking.. i hope people read this reply.. i have spoken with the staff and they informed me that you did not even try and mix with other guests.. they tried so hard to be helpful with you.. what did you want them to take you by the hand around the city.. it's funny how nearly all of the other guests loved the staff. as for water pressure i think you are just clutching at straws there.. the seems fine to us and everyone else.. the reception is always manned maybe the staff where having fun with other guests.. happy travels.. vagabonds

Pros: good free breakfast until 11am, secure lockers under beds, clean beds, new bathrooms, 11am checkout, exceptionally friendly (and cute) staff, free wifi Cons: kitchen is a little too small, wifi can be slow at times,

Stayed 2 nights in a double private room (not en-suite). Room was FREEZING, the heater didn't work so it was 50 degrees all night (10 degrees C) and the bed was sub-par (could feel the wires, made it hard to get comfortable). Upside was that the room had a very small TV that got 5 or 6 channels. Breakfast was standard toast/cereal, but they put bananas out one day and had peanut butter and great bread. WiFi was free but spotty. Location was great, common areas were nice, showers were AMAZING!

Nicest hostel I've ever stayed in! Weren't many people around when I stayed, which was both a good and bad thing (but not the hostel's fault, of course). Lots of awesome silkscreen prints on the walls, and a nice place to relax. The internet connection, however, was super, super slow. Minor thing, but worth noting if you plan on using Skype, etc.

Was my favorite hostel around Ireland, very friendly/homely to suit all ages, but make sure wait for the one shower with continuous hot water, other than that was great. high recommend doing the black cab tour and there pub crawl

Great hostel, except in some of the rooms the bedclothes are rolled up inside a cushion - my friend was freezing all night as no one had said it to her. also, took us ages to get in to check in as no one answered the doorbell. overall, it was a good stay though - clean and location was good

Owner Comment (Show)
hey hazel, apologies for the cushion incident.. most guests figure it out straight away.. i don't remember it taking you ages to get in.. maybe 3-5mins at max.. hopefully next time you come back we will have these problems sorted.. thanks again vagabonds staff

Vagabons was an extremely satisfying experience. Everyone was so friendly, and really made you feel at home. I would call it more of a shared house than a hostel. I recommend this to EVERYONE!!

Only got to stay the one night but if I was back in Belfast I would stay again. Beds felt really clean and the showers quite large. Security in rooms is not the best as some of the cages under the bunks are blocked by other beds and are thus unusable. Very friendly staff.
