Thanks for all the helps during my stay. This is a very friendly hotel. The staffs are always smiling.

Choose another place. The location is poor, unwelcoming and unsociable atmosphere, the staff is extremely pushy/the male staff member is passive aggressive. The beds are uncomfortable and our sheets had disgusting stains on them.

Stayed here for 1 night. Staff were really nice and learnt our names. They rented us bicycles, and when we weren't able to get back to the hotel in time to use them they refunded us which was really sweet. Breakfast was yummy, and when we had a late train they let us use the showers downstairs etc which was nice. The room was quite dark and not the most comfortable but for a budget hotel the experience was really good, would stay again!

Really great staff here and fantastic value for money.

Staff were lovely and good value for money. Good breakfast and when we cooked in the kitchen area the staff took an interest and it was really nice. But the room was one of the dirtiest we've had on our trip. Ants on the floor, mould on the walls and lizards on the ceiling. Shower leaked all over the floor and toilet was clogged. I hate to write a review like this because the place and staff were really good and it was really cheap but just to be honest, this place isn't for the faint-hearted.

The hotel was very cheap for what we got. The room was nice and clean with a well-equiped bath room with an actual bath (Asian size though). Staff was friendly and not pushy. We got free ice tea. Breakfast was okay.

Good hotel, they let us check in early in the morning after our bus from hanoi which was nice. close to lots of restuarants and easy walk to the citadel. Definitely more a hotel than a hostel but also a very good price, so no complaints. Would stay again for sure. Breakfast included too.

The staff made all the difference. Nothing was a problem, arranged a trip to Bach Ma for the market price (cant do better DYI), taxi was waiting for us for trainstation, everything top notch. You get tea on arrival or just about any time, breakfast will fill you for the rest of the morning. We stayed in a beautiful room, one of the best in the past months. Big plus, I left my laptop charging at the reception and left and they went on chasing me about it, fabulous people!

Most friendly staff I've ever encountered - literally. They memorized our names and called us by them during our stay which made us feel super welcome. They arranged a super hassle free (and monetarily free) train station pick up. The breakfast options are great - a big step above what you normally get with a free breakfast. They offered a bicycle rental which was nice - touring the tombs on bike is fun. Our room was spacious and the shower had great water pressure. Very happy with this hotel.

It was a good and clean hotel. The staff was really helpful to arrange some trips

The rooms were okay, but not the best. But the staff were really nice, friendly and helpful! Would recommend it :)

We stayed here in March. It was a very nice guesthouse, lovely ensuite twin room, the tv was a nice bonus, clean towels everyday and the breakfast decent and the nicest pancakes, depending on who cooks them. Bit of a walk from the centre of town though.

Good hotel, very comfortable with a good bed and shower. Good location as just off the Main Street so you avoid all the noise. Good value for money but the staff can be a bit pushy for wanting to book extra nights and tours. Do Not Book the dragon boat tour with them, awful experience as it was so disorganised. Go to the pier and do it that way, it's also cheaper.

I stayed here just one night. The place was nice (private room with a big bathroom) which I was happy to have after the night train from Hanoi. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Valentine Hotel is a good choice once you're in Hue. It's located quite close to the main attractions of the city and the area looks pretty safe. It's a very good service for such price and I'd definitely stay there again if I'm back in Hue. What's most important, is the fact that the hotel's staff is the friendliest, most helpful and kind I've ever met. They're not pushy with their help but still offer you best deals, they're even willing to wake up much earlier to prepare breakfast for you!

We stayed at the Valentine hotel for 2 nights and had a great stay. The staff is very nice and helpfull and the hotel is very clean. You can choose from 6 options for breakfast which is prepared for you by one of the ladies at the time you prefer. The hostel is at walking-distance from the river and several nice restaurants and bars, but if you want to go a bit further into town they have bikes for rent for a dollar for the whole day. Highly recommended!
