Our stay at Valentines has been lovely. It immediately felt like home, the very moment we arrived.. we had a special-deal which included the pick-up from the bus - very easy! We have been treated so nicely - so if you want a good experience in Hue we definitely recommend you to stay at Valentines!!!

A good hostel in a great location for places to eat. The staff were very helpful in setting up a tour for us and giving us local information on where to go. The breakfast could be more varied, but i'm just being picky.

Nice, central located place. Staff is really friendly and helpfull! It is good value for your money.

Lovely hotel with great atmosphere (even when it was raining!) I would stay again and would definately recommend

Very nice hotel for the price you pay. Its a budget hotel so you can not expect to much but the staff realy puts an afford in making you feel at home. I would recomemt this hotel!

We planned to stay there for three nights, checked out after the first. Loud, cold and kind of dirty (linen and fungus in bathroom). Staff is friendly though they tried to trick us in the end with the price for the airport pick up. Breakfast was okay though nothing special. Breakfast "hall' was uncosy und cold and loud. I don't know how this place got such a high score at the reviews. I would not recommend it. Better invest 10 $ more and stay in a nice place!

Was very clean and well run and I would definitely stay here again. Didn't find the remote for the TV but otherwise nothing to complain about. They organized the bus with pickup service to Hoi An and staff spoke pretty good English for Vietnam. I would recommend this place.

This hotel was perfect. Very clean and the room smelt 'hotel clean' too which was a first for us in Vietnam. And a good thing! The hotel staff threw a NYE party for Tet which was really fun. They are very friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival our train to Hue was over an hour late but Kenny still waited for us. Thank you!

Rooms are nice and clean, though the pillow was way to hard for me. Amazing bathroom with bathtub! Breakfast is great as well as you can choose between 6 options. Only minus about the place is the location, stuck away in an alley. The staff is really friendly and remember your name.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. We had some problems about the responsibility for our broken motorbike that we rent there. They have good books that can we read in the lobby. Rooms are clean, regular quality.

Nice hostel near many restaurants. Would stay again

I have to say I was very disappointed. The location is not the best, down alley. Being a solo female traveler going back to the hotel in the dark (6pm) was a little daunting. The room was so basic, paint peeling iff the walls, ants and old towels. The plus side the staff were fantastic, so friendly abd nothing was too much trouble.

This is a very basic hotel, but great value. $14 got us transportation bookings, a map, tourist advice, $2 worth of drinks and a breakfast worth about $5. You can't complain about the staff or the value at all. It's a little bit of a walk from central Hue, but most of the hostels/cheap hotels are and it is in a good backpacker zone. Staff were really friendly and the place was clean a part from the dirty wet towels left on the floor with the appropriate silverfish.

We spent a log of time at Valentine Hotel since it rained and the city was flooded during our day in hue. We enjoyed the bathtub, and the room was clean and the fan and AC worked. The staff was helpful helping us get food when we couldn't leave the hotel due to flooding. The internet was super fast and probably the best I had in all of Vietnam. I would stay again.

Clean and very affordable rates. Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and not so pushy with selling tours like in many other hotels/hostels in Vietnam.

Cosy little hotel, about ten minute walk from the backpacker street. Really nice and accommodating staff, although they have varying levels of English. Tv in the room, cheep minibar, big beds and clean bathroom.

Good hotel! Really nice rooms and ok breakfast. You have to tell the staff the night before which breakfast you want. Went here when everything was floaded. In the evening we couldn't go to a restaurant, but the staff made sure there was something to eat for us, wich was very nice of them!!! Good bed and bathroom, everything was really clean! Thanks for the excellent stay!

Staff are so nice

Nice and friendly staff that's more than willing to help. A shout out to Kenny who helped us with flight tickets with his own personal account with Vietnam Air. Free ice lemon tea every time we come back from the hotel. Woke up late to find that breakfast/brunch is still available. Highly recommended!

Excellent staff members - helpful & friendly, ready to greet & have a conversation. Very much appreciated the pick up from the train station on a motorcycle =) Located slightly off the main streets but still close to eateries, shops, etc. & definitely quieter than other hotels/hostels located on the main streets. The room & bathroom are clean & tidy. Breakfast is included. I checked out before noon then cycled around town, and was able to shower before catching my train at 6.45pm. Cheers!
