On a quite alley. Staff were very friendly and were welcomed with a cold drink. They gave us a map of the area and pointed out certain points of interest. Room was clean (aircon ok but not amazing). Breakfast included was good. Helped us call a taxi to the train station and let us shower in the afternoon after we checked out in the morning. Overall happy with our stay.

Very friendly staff. Close to lots of restaurants and a really good bar. A little difficult to find, had to direct taxi drivers more than once. Don't book a city tour here, it's awful and ridiculously expensive when you add all the entrance fees.

Super nice little place. Very clean, quiet, nice bathrooms, lots of movie channels. Really friendly staff, they were very helpful! Only negative would be that the location is a 10-15min walk from the main drag. Other than that, great place!

Lovely hotel/hostel in great location that is walking distance to local food and tourist food. If you are up for a bit of a walk you can get to most tourist sites. We enjoy walking so it was great for us! The staff are really helpful and even give out free tea at random....if you happen to be sitting in the lobby that is. The internet worked great, the air con worked great, and the hotel has lovely views from upstairs walkways. We were very happy with this hotel/hostel.

Good value for money because: + very helpful staff Big room, could use an update though Wifi in the room, computers downstairs Good breakfast included Location good, within 5 min. walk from restaurants, 20 min. from the imperial city Bike rental (less than 2 dollar) Tours can be arranged - The bus to Hanoi they booked for us was cheap but aweful: cockroaches, dirty seats, no lights after 7pm so you couldn't read. So tell them NOT to use Camel Travel / Camel Tours

Breakfast was great, staff were excellent but the room let them down, TV & bedside lamp didn't work and the bathroom door glass was broken.

We loved it. The staff were exceptional, rooms good.. They also offer free pickup service from train station, our train was delayed and they waited over three hours. Room was much better than average. Organised a great motorbike tour to Hoi An with them, would recommend and stay here again for sure.

Loved this place. Staff are incredible and will go absolutely out of their way for you. The ac unit is a bit mouldy but will only bother those with allergies.

The hotel is alright. It's not the nicest I've stayed at in Vietnam for this kind of price. The staff was helpful enough and helped me book the sleeper bus to Hanoi. The facilities were OK except for the common bathroom on the first floor. Aircon and hot water worked just fine in my room and the towels were changed often. Overall an average place to stay, you'll get exact same value for this price at other places.

I loved this mini-hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and fabulous hot shower over bath. Strong wifi in room and two very charming men on Reception.. They were very honest and upfront about adding on 10%to the cost of the train ticket they organised for me, before they got it.. Very helpful with tours but not at all pushy. Offered me tea or coffee when I came in. In a quiet lane 5 minutes from all the action. There is a nearby bar with loud karaoke but it stops at 10.30pm so no problem.

Being used to backpacker style dorms, I was pleasantly delighted at the single room I got at Valentine. For about 12 USD, I got a rather large room with my own bathroom and everything I need - fridge with bottled water, TV, queen-sized bed, dresser, wardrobe, ... it was quite a luxury for me. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the guy who received me on the first day (didn't get his name). They were nice to take the trouble of asking our choice of breakfast everyday.

The staff were very helpful, especially in getting us some transportation from our next destation (Hoi An) during the busy Tet holiday. Reasonably close to all the main Hue city centre sights, but on a quiet alley rather than a busy road. Rooms are fairly clean and well equipped. Valentine Hotel is more of a budget hotel than a hostel, so bear that in mind if you want to meet other travellers.

It is located in the center of the town, and easy accees to anywhere. They arrange tour, tickets, transport for you. The staff seems unfriendly in the beginning, but are not. They are experienced and thoughtful, some of them can tell what you want without telling them. The building is pretty old, but well managed.
