This hostel as potential to be one of the best hostel but the owners can be a bit rude. Other the that the location was great, overlooking Petra and the sunset was fantastic. The dinner buffett was delicious. The rooms were clean as was the bathroom.This hostel as potential to be one of the best hostel but the owners can be a bit rude. Good location with free transport to Petra. Staff not very friendly! I'd look around for other hostels/hotels before choosing here. The buffet as dinner in the evening is great, I liked the different dishes.
I appreciate the free shuttle service to the entrance of Petra.

In a word, our room was FILTHY when we checked in. The sink hadnt been cleaned in years, and there was a leftover toothpick and bloody dental floss(with rotting meat) on it. No hot water in the in the morning - warm water in the evening. The room fridge had exposed wires, making it unsafe to keep it on. Had to ask why we were overcharged at check-in too. They're trying to be better, but just haven't gotten there yet. Go there for the (cheap and good) buffet dinner, but dont sleep there. In a word, our room was FILTHY when we checked in. Valentines is the best value option if youre moving on the cheap to Petra. Since they take you once you arrive to the bus central and they also take you to and back Petra, you wont have to worry about dealing with taxi drivers, which is a blessing in such a place.
The whole place is not a world wonder but you can sleep there without major trouble. The staff is not always nice, there are a couple of guys that are everything but helpful.Valentines is the best value option if youre moving on the cheap to Petra. The dinners at Valentina's are just amazing. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. Some of the staff are more cheerful and talkative than others, but all are willing to help.
