Martha (think i spelt correctly) was excellent in her hospitality. The kitchen was kept clean as well and it was a very good location. We had a good view of the mountains from our balcony too.

Home away from home. Profressional style kitchen, loft bunk beds, incredible views. Must see.

This hostel was AMAZING! We stayed in four different hostels during our time in Europe, and this was by far our favorite. The views of the mountains from our room's windows were incredible. People staying there were very quiet and respectful.

Very nice hostel. However if you get out of the station, it is actually on the left side.

Great little hostel! Fun backpacking atmosphere. The city is a perfect little getaway from the big city and the valley is absolutely gorgeous. Valley Hostel is literally a few minutes walk from everything in town and there are hiking trails everywhere. The hostel was nice and clean and the kitchen was AWESOME. There were no lockers in the rooms. Staff was friendly and very helpful. You even get customized slippers to wear around :)

Only stayed one night. great value for the price paid. conveniently located two minutes walk from the train station. friendly and helpful staff. Room was tiny, but enough for my needs. only issue it can get bit noisy. Would definitely recommend booking this place.

arriving at valley hostel we found the place is dead tlll 4 when you can check in, theres a no shoe policy which wasnt a problem, the place is definatly catered to asian tourists, as we were the only caucations there... the kitchen is really good and everything is really clean but the receptionist could use a smile and maybe if we didntt feel like we were back at school with so many rules we would of had a better time... ps. a bath towel is not a face towel...

I travelled with my daughter and a friend and her daughter. Both of us are in our 50s, daughters-13yo. We loved our stay! The location was just perfect for hiking, walking, trips out of the valley. The place was spotless. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The majority of people in the hostel were young 20-somethings, but there was a young family there with 3 kids under 12. We didn't participate in the after dinner wine and cards, but everyone was pleasant and respectful.

Fantastic location. Had a 6 bed dorm and it was clean, but the room got stuffy. Plenty of showers to use, but the water turned off automatically after certain intervals so that was a little inconvenient. Showers were the type that you would find at gyms or sports centres. Definitely need to wear thongs. A pleasant stay, but would have enjoyed it more if it had better showers.

Fantastic Location, extremely clean, good bunks and one of the best kitchens ever for a hostel - an industrial chefs kitchen! The only thing that I could say is that the rooms themselves were rather small, however when you wake up to the amazing view of the Jungfrau region, you instanlty forgert about the size of the room. Great hostel and would recommend to anyone!

nice social hostel with lots of people from different places, staff were friendly apart from one cleaner who was very rude! location is perfect and kitchen and dining area is really good. dorms are really cosy and we were lucky enough to have a balcony too, would've been better if they could provide lockers for valuables though. we would defiantly stay here again!
