I really liked staying here. It is close to the skytrain and has good internet connection. Price is very good. If you are not in Vancouver for partying then I would absolutely recommend staying here.

This one is a pretty bare-bones operation, but good enough nonetheless. It is a pretty quiet place with only three beds per dorm room. The bathrooms are clean enough and there is a kitchen available. The location is pretty far out (in Burnaby, outside of Vancouver), but it is right on the sky train ($3.75 fare into town, less in the evenings) so you can get where you want to be in 30 minutes or so. Use this if you want an alternative to the really active hostels in downtown Vancouver.

A really nice place, but its not close to the city at all. some reviews said it was, but, in my opinion, its pretty far out. other than that though it was a nice place.

We stayed here 7 days the staff are super nice, they only give you 1 roll of toilet paper? Which is weird, but not that bigger deal really.. reason given was someone once clogged the toilet with paper? Sure...! other than that the place is comphertable and clean. The front door is always unlocked and they have what seemed to be a live in Canadian older guy there. Very quiet and would only work out $100 a month cheaper than a room in an apartment in downtown Vancouver, reasonably priced though.

From my experience this is the best non-party hostel in Vancouver. I appreciated not paying for a starchy breakfast of dubious value (HI hostels). Its small capacity made it good for meeting fellow travellers. The hostel offered good facilities for the price. Being close to the skytrain removed any disadvantage which might follow from its location in suburban Burnaby. Excellent shopping at nearby Metrotown mall.

Great friendly international people which are easy to talk to them. Good area not so far from Skytrain (most popular trafic in the city) and not so far from big shoping mall too. We really enjoy to stay there.

A great location if you DONT want a downtown drinkfest, well served by public transport. As long as you communicate with the staff before your arrival you should not encounter any issues. A great place to stay short term or long term but dont expect a party house.....

This is a pretty funny operation. As posted before you get one roll when you check in be it a day or a week. If you extented your stay and are 'lucky' enough to get moved to another house (there are four) you get another roll. I have to disagree there are four forks in the kitchen not three. Beds are two matresses on top of each other but comfortable. Staff are friendly but unhelpful-lack of local knowledge. oven and washingmachine doesnt work. Other guests very fun, Congregation of the damned.

In contrast to the advertisement, no actual laundry facilities. The kitchen seems incomplete without an oven and has a total of 3 forks for the whole hostel. you get 1 toilet roll upon check in AND THATS IT. doesnt matter how long you've booked for, whether a night or week.. you get ONE only. The girls who check persons in seem lovely enough but in an english speaking country it is hard when they speak very little english.

It's a bit far from the city center, but if you are looking for a quiet and friendly place for low price, it is perfect. And we've also met with a lot of nice people there :)

They were very helpful and although I came a little late, and needed to get going fast, they were flexible enough to make it work out for me. I really appreciated that.

Nice place, a little far out, about 10 minutes walk to metrotown skytrain. Nice staff, clean rooms, lockers available but you need to supply your own lock.
