The staff were really friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. The hostel is 5 mins away from skytrain links into Vancouver and a big mall. Thanks to Max and Carol.

The look from outside of this hostel might not be pleasant but the couple that run this place are really nice and helpful. The place is basic but clean.

This is a really lovely place to stay. It is not really a hostel but is more like renting a private room in a home. It\'s a guesthouse really and is absolutely perfect for people who\'ve come to work in Vancouver or people who want to explore Vancouver without living up the backpacker hostel lifestyle. DON\\\'T come here if you\\\'re expecting party hostel. It is amazingly good value for private rooms and I found the beds very comfortable. Max and Carol

The people are very nice and friendly. They brought us to the airport very early in the morning, without complaining about it. Everything was very clean (!) and organized. The Hostel is only fives minutes away from the Skytrain and Metrotown where you can buy everything you need. I'm really looking forward to book this hostel again, it is one of the best I've ever stayed in. Isabel from Germany   Read Owner Comments

old house (ruin), not in good shape, looks dirty and old. I had fleabites (on my hand and arm) the next morning. I`m sorry, but that`s why I can not recommend

It's more of a house with rooms than a hostel. There wasn't even a sign on the house saying it was a hostel, who knows if it is legitimate. It's near the the skytrain in Burnaby, so it costs 3.75 to get from Downtown Vancouver to the hostel. We stayed for 3 nights, and that was probably enough. I would recommend staying closer to the city so that you don't have to spend much on traveling back and forth.   Read Owner Comments

This is a residential home type hostel rather than the more "typical" versions in downtown Vancouver. The owners are very nice and helpful. If you are not looking to stay in downtown Vancouver and have your own vehicle, this is a great choice.   Read Owner Comments

An excellent, reasonably-piced hostel! The staff are very helpful and friendly, the nearby mall caters amply to any shopping needs you might have, and the place is a 7 minutes' walk away from Skytrain. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, affordable place to stay within reach of central Vancouver!   Read Owner Comments
