It was unnerving to arrive at the hostel with the keys to the hostel and our room hanging outside the hostel door and no one there even though we called the hostel almost an hour before we arrived. It didn’t feel very safe. The hostel was clean and we encountered no problems. Close to huge shopping mall and the Skytrain.

Nice little hostel provided you get the house on Gray Avenue, House on Dow Avenue is not so pretty nor is the neighborhood! Otherwise great, will stay again.

It is about 7 min. walk to skytrain. A huge shopping mall in front skytrain station. it is not far to go downtown by skytrain. washrooms are newly renovated. very clean.

Only issue really was noise, you can hear everything through the walls. It didn't help that we were next to the kitchen/common area. Our room seemed in good need of a spruce up too, it was a little bit on the shoddy side but it was ok- I suppose you get what you pay for.

A very good value for money hostel, about 950m walk to metro town sky train and mall. Rooms are fair, prices are cheap, staff are nice and overall it has been a good experience - so much so, our 2 night stay has extended to 2 weeks. Oven does not work, and after your first roll of toilet paper, you need to supply your own.

location is no bad, near metrotown, but if you wanna go to downtown you have to take skytrain or bus. it's too expensive, one time pass is $3.75,,, but this hostel is good normal size room(double room), and have kitchen. but staff not always stay in hostel little bit uncomportable. if you buy much in market, metrotown, when you go back to hostel, little bit hard, you have to walk about 10 minute. but it's no bad. If I visit again Vancouver I will stay again here,
