Extremely good location, minutes away from the subway and Mid-Manhattan's sights (Times Square, 5th Avenue) for a great price.

Floor of room had not even been swept, Fleas on my bed, still scratching from them. Suprisingly bathrooms and shower were clean and tidy. Bathrooms too far from rooms. Need more bathrooms per story.

I had a great time and will be there next year. I go to the Greater NYC Dental meeting at the Javit center and take a free shuttle a few blocks from the Y.The area is good and the Y seems safe.I found plenty of good places to eat on 2nd Ave. It would be nice to have fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning. I would gladly pay for that service...better than machine coffee... Thanks

Rooms are very small with no hand basin in the room. Entrance to shower did not close easily from inside. Otherwise great swimming pool and gym. Easy to get to main sites and not too far to walk from metro at Grad Central Station. Most staff were friendly and helpful.

This YMCA has newer aerobics equipment than the West Side YMCA. You can not bring guests up to your room and the rooms are smaller than the West Side YMCA. There is a separate shower room with two partitioned curtained showers and a communal pair of showers off the bathroom as well so there was never a wait plus there is always the gym downstairs that you can use for free. If you would like to have guests visit you upstairs, I would suggest staying at the West Side YMCA instead.
