We had such a pleasent stay at Vannis Hause. Vannis himself welcomed us to the city and gave us some great tips. He was always up for a chat and willing to help out. The room we stayed in was brand new and very comfortable. Vannis designs everything himself and that creates a really cool atmosphere. We really enjoyed that the hostel only has five rooms, made us feel right at home. Such good value for your money and a good location as well!

We can only recommend this amazing hostel to everyone. The location is good, the landlord is very helpful, friendly and trustworthy, the rooms are big and cozy, the bathroom and kitchen nice and clean. The rooms are located in an antique building, which gives the place a special character. We really could not have asked for much more, so if you are looking for a great stay at an affordable price, don't look any further!

Vanni's Place was a great place to be. The connections with public transportation are very good. Though Berlin is a very noisy city, the room we slept in was very quiet. We experienced Vanni as a very kind, cheerful host.

The Vannis hostel was nice, Clean and friendly to stay at. Next time I visit Berlin I´m ceartinly going to stay at the same Place.

Everything is perfect, Vanni is a great guy. Location can not be better. All recommendations for this hostel. Cheers !

We are a couple in our 40's and in Vannis Haus we had complete privacy, a lovely apartment with a balcony onto a courtyard where the singing birds drowned out the traffic. A great local pub/bar and the tram outside the front door. Don't worry about the wi-fi - the people are great to talk to. 100% from us.

great place in a great location. Easy to reach and not far from public transportation. The room was clean, big and comfortable. The staffs were nice and helpfull. The internet connection should be better though, because I often had problem connecting to wifi. But overall, everything was great. Highly recommended!

I spent 13 nights in this calm and cozy apartment. A big stylish finished single room, fast wi-fi, good set up kitchen. Rooms and shared spaces were clean, bedlinen and towels were fresh. It took 10 minutes by feet to get to the nearest U-bahn station and the tram stop was right in front of the building. Vanni, the owner, was really helpful and nice, always coming up with great ideas how to spend free time in Berlin. So it was just perfect there! Would highly recommend this place to everybody!

I had a good time at the hostel. Good value for money. Excellent staff, very helpful. Good location, in 10 minutes (tram stop in front of the hostel) you can be at Alexanderplatz. Thanks Giovanni :-)

Such a nice stay at Vannis Haus. It was a few weeks back so I've forgotten the owners name but he is a very friendly and cool guy, made us feel welcome and provided great tips for getting around. Vannis Haus is perfect for a romantic weekend get away. Or when you're in need of a little privacy. lovely rooms more like a hotel with plenty of space and the shared bathroom was only with 1 other person in a separate single room. Would definitely stay again :)

The place was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The room is big and bright and furnished with very good taste. The only small drawback was the fact that the bathroom (advertised as ensuite) was not directly attached to the room, but it proved not to be a big problem. The owner Vanni was very nice and helpful.

Vannis Haus is perfect if you're looking for somewhere ideally located a stones throw away from the character filled streets of Prenzlauer Berg, not to mention the opportunity to feel like a real Berliner owing to it being an apartment rather than a 'typical' hostel. We were welcomed by our friendly and helpful host, given the keys and left to our own devices for 4 days which we loved. Having kitchen facilities saved on eating out, and the apartment was clean and well kept. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Vannish Haus for couple nights with my husband. Building and our room had nice old style and we liked the degoration and design. Couple times it was troublesome reach hostel owner by mobilephone and we needed to wait him, but in the end he was such a nice guy!

It was a pleasant staying. Vannis Haus and it's cosy atmosphere made my holiday even more comfortable: close to main attraction and well served by public transports; clean and stylish. Good value in terms of price/facilities. The owner is very friendly and ready to help. I'll definitely suggest Vannis Haus to the people I know.

My mum and I stayed at Vannis Haus for 7 nights, we had orginally booked for 5 nights but extended our stay because we had a lovely time. The rooms were clean, cosy and warm, the kitchen was brand new and well set up and the bathrooms were clean. The host was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. It was very close to public transport, there was a tram stop right outside and a short walk to the metro.

This was a fantastic place to stay. While we were staying here we had the place to ourselves as the rest of the rooms were being renovated. The public transport is very close and it is easy to reach other areas of Berlin, and Prenzlauer Berg is a great area with lots of shops and restaurants nearby! Vanni was very accommodating and gave us a map and told us specifically where to go for food, trams, etc. It made our trip very easy! We loved it, thanks Vanni :)
