Clean, affordable, friendly staff, located right on the beach. The large common area facilitates an atmosphere of camaraderie among the guests.

The location of the hostel is by far the best of any hostel I've stayed at. When they say you're right on the beach, they really mean it. What's more, the hostel is in Eastern Rarotonga. If you're a morning person you can prepare to greet each new day with the sun rising over the Pacific Ocean. The one issue I had was security. The sliding doors were left unlocked all night. Given the hostel's relative isolation this isn't much of an issue, but still something to keep in mind.
