It is located in quite centrally so you have easy access to all the amenities. However, the room I stayed in was quite dirty. There were cockroaches and other small insects as well as a bad smell.

In my opinion it is a good hostel to stay if you are searching for a good location in Phnom Penh, really near to the Royal Palace and the National Museum, and with lots of restaurants and bars around. The staff were extremely helpful, providing advice for every question or doubt that I had. However, the facilities are at least modest. Temperature in the room was really tough, with just a really old deficient fan that made a lot of noise and made it really difficult to fall asleep.

The private room with shared bathroom was quite cheap, but next time I will definitely spend a bit more money to get at least some average comfort! My room had no window and was EXTREMELY humid and FULL of bugs crawling on and surround me which was awful! The pillow was hard (maybe due to humidity) and stinky. My hair stank even after washing several times for a couple of days because of the pillow!!! The bathroom was dirty and extremely humid as well.. And the staff not friendly.Disappointing

I booked a single bedroom for one person. The room is just a very small room, with no windows. But, it had two fans - which is needed as the room gets really hot and stuffy. The bathroom was nice, and everything was clean. For the money paid I suppose everything is OK...

Hamish, the guy who runs it, is fantastic! Room was good, just small and basic. Had everything you'd need, and the bed was super comfy! Bathroom could do with the towels being changed a little more often, but clean enough! No problems!

Good location. kind stuffs. The bathroom not clean. Dark atmosphere. It has bus or boat tickets booking service. I booked that the owner recommended me. He said it's new,and have everything, water, wifi, toilet. But I got it no wifi. Also the stuff told me it's near the city center, when arrived it is far from the center,u need take. Motor or walk a long distance.

The staff were very helpful (isn't everyone in Cambodia?) and the location was absolutely perfect, a stone's throw from the waterfront and all its cafes and bars. The room itself was a bit basic and pokey, with no window and quite a hard bed, but it was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. It has a bar too, but that was very quiet when I was there. Maybe not the best place to meet other backpackers, but a good little hostel if you need somewhere well-located to crash for a night.

A well located little hostel, really close to the riverside, night market, palace and museum. Easy to catch a tuk tuk right outside for day excursions (such as Cheoung Ek and the genocide museum - very confronting but certainly worth the visit). Double room was clean but basic, and no window. The bar area downstairs is a nice place to sit and meet other travellers and drink very cheap beer! Staff are friendly and informative. Do watch your pockets when in Phnom Penh - a lot of pickpockets about.

Hostel was well located on the riverfront near plenty of bars and restaurants. It was clean, but our room seemed to have been an afterthought, our door being a flimsy glass number with a shaky lock and plasterboarded windows. It has a good, cheap bar/restaurant and the Australian proprietor is very helpful and a good laugh. You can do worse for the price in Phnom Penh.

Hostel is simple but comfortable. It's in a great location near the riverside. It's a good place to use as a base to see the sites but not really a place you can hang out at, and be entertained. Staff we're friendly and helpful and I would use this place again if just passing through Phnom Penh.

Clean and helpful staff.

Best hostel in Phnom Penh! good wifi, air con, central and comfortable beds (a lot better to get the bottom one as it squeaks and shakes a bit when you move) overall very happy and would recommend it to anyone

It was a nice hostel in all, apart from the mold on the highest floor and the poorly constructed beds. But considering what we paid it was really worth it.

Really good location on the riverside with lots or places to eat and drink nearby. Really good

Staff helpful. Had a private room but no window. Wifi never worked in the room. Close to lots of bars, shops and restaurants. Easy to get about to sights (hotel organised tuk-tuk).

Amazing! Hamish is a legend, will stay here again.

Good location, friendly staff. Room did not have a TV, shower did not have hot water.

Place to crash for the night, staff was friendly enough. Room had no window so smelt a bit.. Nothing fancy but if your expectations arent high pefectly decent accomidation
