Cool atmosphere. The girl who is there most of the time Is rude and seems as if you are bothering her If you ask her anything, Unless you are a male Westener. Ants are all over the bathroom Location is good. Easy to meet travellers

The only problem I had there was actually due to the customers and not the hotel itself. Very rude, stupid and loud people in my dorm room making trouble in the middle of the night. The hotel itself is good.

The hostel was ok for one night, the bed in the room was almost as the same size of the room and the light in the bathroom did not work. Beside that it is ok for a one night stop over.

Good value for the money - clean beds and washrooms. Music was loud until about midnight

It’s within walking distance to nearly all attractions, it’s by the waterfront, and it’s close to several bars and restaurants also. Close to bus/train terminals also. Only downside are the stuffy rooms and lack of electrical outlets in the rooms.

I booked one Basic Twin Private Shared Bathroom. but I was given one dorm with two bed. I complained it wasn't a twin room. the owner told me all of their twin room were the same. I found there's no socket for my notebook. the owner told me I could use the one our of the room. I complained it's the worst room i ever stayed. Then, the owner let me took my luggage and went out. I was drived away because it was peak season. She wasn'tworry for their business(90% of hotels nearby were full that day)

Stayed an extra few days, the ac in our room was nothing compared to the room adjacent to ours. Epic staff though!!!

We had a private room and it was like a prison cell!! TINY room with bunkbeds and a fan, no plug points to charge phone etc. The room has no windows and is unbelievably hot and stuffy!! was just glad we only booked the one night! Check-in was also slow as they didn't have any record of my booking even though I paid a deposit online and had confirmation.

Stayed in the big dorm on the top floor, super cheap but means only a fan. Try and get a top bunk otherwise you will be fighting over the floor fans & you need a fan. The room gets very hot! Great location right by the river, nice little social area & good price.

Had a blast here. Helpful staff and a easy place to meet people. I had a 10 bedroom dorm, but 6 beds (mine included) was situated in a separate air-conditioned section. Bliss if you can get it!

This hostel was a typical backpackers with average facilities, the dorm we stayed in was ok i slept in my sleeping bag liner as the sheets weren't overly clean but the bathroom was an absolute disgrace. It was so dirty i wouldn't set foot in there without thongs on and the toilet was absolutely grosse. With that complaint though for the money that seems to be the norm in cambodia. overall not a place i would stay again but i am not a hard core backpacker

I stayed here a lot longer than planned, which is always a good sign. It's not a great hostel but it's certainly not bad. Try to get an air-conditioned room and the temperature should be fine. Some people didn't seem too happy about the place while I was there, but it's more than I expected for the price. Staff were pretty nice but there was one girl who was a bit nosey and annoying. You'll get that any place though. The hangout area downstairs was great for meeting other travellers. VG location

If you're young and want to drink then VH is ideal because the party goes quite late. However, if you want to sleep before exploring the city then look across the street at the Velkommen Guesthouse (same owners, quiet and clean). At VH my bed was on the first floor so the noise from the bar was intrusive and the bar toilet was broken - patrons were directed to the bathroom in the hostel area. It was obvious the next morning while showering that people had vomited there. Staff was friendly though

I stayed at the 12bed dorm and the lower bunks were absolutely too hot for sleeping. I woke up sweating in the middle of the night. No fans cover the lower bunks. The bed beside me requested for a small extra fan but they don't have any left for me. So the next day I topped up 2dollars and switched to 6bed aircon bunk and it was totally worth the money. Tuk tuk is not exactly cheap, 1-3dollars per ride so this location saves you a lot of money on that since its really near to lots of places.

Had a great time here, the facilities and rooms are all pretty standard, but the place stands out when it comes to atmosphere, great social area downstairs, staff is great. Recommend this place

The most disgusting hostel I have been to, everything was extremely dirty and run-down. The staff didn't care about anything, they were more interested in getting drunk with some of the guests.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It is a great place for the single traveller, as you are bound to make loads of friends. Be careful if you’re on a tight schedule, as you might end up having an incredible time and staying longer than intended. The staff are lovely and Rory is fantastic! I will definitely stay here again.
