Room was pretty small but clean. We had a tv, hot water, air con and wifi which all worked well. The staff are friendly and helpful if you have any questions. good central location. Would recommend this to a budget traveller on a trip to Phnom Penh.

There were ants in our room, but considering it's Cambodia, that's somewhat to be expected. We appreciated that the staff dealt with the problem quickly though it would have been nice to get a new pillow case after the dead ants fell on the bed. Overall we were very happy with our stay. The bathroom was spotless and the room (other than the ants) was perfectly clean as well. If we are back in Phnom Penh, we will be staying here even though we had to pay for breakfast.

The Velkommen was good for our family, a triple room is not easy to find! The food was excellent and the staff friendly and very helpful. The only criticism is that smoking is allowed in the eating/reception/bar area which we didn't like.

Well located place that's nice enough, only complaint was the builders next door starting with their electric drill at 7am - not really the hostels fault though!

It's in a touristy location on the river front but very easy walk anywhere in town. Very clean friendly staff. I came back and stayed here again. I would recommend it!

Could do with a lift for the upper floors, we had to walk heavy bags up and down about 5 flights. It also go tiring doing it several times a day in the Cambodian heat. Otherwise, a lovely guesthouse and pleasant stay.

Good location, short-walk to the riverside, night market, and Sisowath quay cool cafes and bars. Met the owner himself, such a friendly and nice english guy, helpful staffs too. I will definitely stay here again soon. But I wonder why they are not listed in Lonely Planet travel books even-though they are listed as second highest ranking guesthouse/hostel on Traveler's Point website.

Good value for money. Very good location right near the waterfront and very close walking distance to some of the city sights. The accomodation here was great, but it was lot easier to hang out and meet other backpackers at Velkommen Backpackers which is right across the street from the guesthouse.

Excellent location, small but clean rooms. One woman on bar/reception duties was a bit blunt but informative. The rest were all smiles.

This is a great spot to stay if you are here for a few days. It is right by the River, making it easy to access the bars & restaurants along the waterfront. It is good value for money. The Palace and National Museum are within walking distance, although I would recommend a tuk tuk depending on the temperature!! They can organise a tuk tuk for the other sites for $15 per day. You pay the entrance fees direct. The wireless is not very dependable though, but a good place to stay! Recommended.

Altogether I was very satisfied, especially for a French gastronome like me, since on one corner you had an exquisite French restaurant (that also serves excellent Khmer food!) and on the other 'The Blue Pumpkin', which is a French bakery, pastry shop with high quality products, including coffee and also food. Then im my room I had cable TV with three times my favorite program: TV 5 Monde! So why should I complain and about what?

Hotel is good. Rooms are very clean, bathroom clean and good to. Good location, right at riverfront. For the price, a small fridge in the room would be nice, but no bad things on the hotel itself. There is some construction work going on real close, so no change to sleep late. But not to big a problem.

friendly owner, helpful staff. good tuktuk driver arrangement for sightseeing around town. wifi connection good in common areas, but didn't work in our room (fifth or sixth floor). good a/c in room. good location half a block from riverfront - walking distance to numerous restaurants and about 10 walk from tourist boat dock for mekong cruises. can book direct international bus from phnom penh to saigon for reasonable price.

Perfect location. Staff were the best! They speak very good english. We stayed in a private room. Not sure if the shared rooms are that cheap but we paid a fair bit.

Clean and good value for the money. Only complaints was the ceiling was low and our window looked out into a narrow alley so it was a little claustrophobic.
