The dorm toilet wasn't clean...everything else was good. The staff is friendly and helpfull

This hostel was really amazing. The staff were super friendly and very cooperative. Although the location is a little away from the city centre; the gardens, the 2 lovely cats and their amazing pancakes are worth it. Thank you team Venezia

Didn't overally enjoy our stay here. Was very difficult to communicate with staff, kitchen was rarely available and pool was only half full. On our first night the staff and a couple of guests were up partying till 4am which was a bit annoying as we were leaving at 4am that morning for sunrise view of temples. We ended up checking out and going down the road to the backpacker street we found something cheaper and cleaner with better faculties. Wouldn't stay here again.

I extended my stay there but they refused to give me the hostel's price... Which was a first. The sty was good overall. We met lots of people and it was pleasant to hang around there. Be patient with the staff that can be great but tends to take their time. It's their pace pretty much, so don't take it personally.

We must have come at an odd time since all the other reviews are so positive. To be fair, the rooms were cheap and fairly decent. It just the staff made the situation so AWKWARD. They were so uninterested in having us there and couldn't be bothered. They were too busy lounging in the common areas, having endless smoke breaks, and on their computers to even acknowledge our existence. Glares and silence whenever a guest would be walking by or heaven forbid, trying to use a common area

Really nice area to stay in and the hostel had a great communal area and cheap bar. Especially liked the art space, made great use of it! Free breakfast was good.

Loved this hostel! such a nice place to hang out and its tucked away from all the noise and bustle of the main tourist street. A very artsy and cultural place too. There was a local musician playing reggae one night and a little art show and music performance another night in the courtyard. The owner was cool and especially one staff member named Cahyo.

This hostel is a lovely place to chill in yogyakarta. There was always some music or art exhibitions going on, which was nice to see.

The Hostel in general seems gods but the dorm rooms are very tiny! The 6 bed dorm was clearly planned as a 4 bed and consist of 2 loft beds and 2 mattresses on the floor...

Very chill environment and garden area to relax around. Free banana pancakes were great! Located a bit south from the city center though- about a 30 minute walk to the night market.

Met quite cool people there. The garden is a good place to chill and there was a party the day i arrived so i had a really pleasant time there :-)

Rooms were clean. Bathroom could do with a refurb. The outside chill out area was lovey:) It was great that tgey served breakie at anytime of day. A minus.... Staff need a kick in the ass. They smoke and eat and leave a mess everywhere. Not professional or polite. They were playing music till 11pm... I'm not an ol fogey, but I had travelled a long time to get there, and was going to do the tour in the morning so had to be up at 4am. I had to tell them to pipe down. Overall, a good hostel

Amazing hostel for backpacker with very friendly staff and atmosphere!

Great vibes, excellent location!! Walking distance to main street with bars and restaurant and very easy to get to the market and sights on marlioboro. No regrets in choosing this hostel :)

Good hostel in a great location (plenty of restaurants and bars). Their sunrise tour to Borobudur is great value. Live music outside at the bar in the evening is perfect after a day wandering around the temples too!

A really great, fun but also relaxing hostel! Walking distance from many restaurants/cafes and not too far from tourist destinations. Staff is very friendly and accommodating - James is awesome! Comfortable lounge areas great for meeting people and hanging out. Great vibe, would definitely stay here again.

Staff were rather unfriendly, hostel a bit small so lacked atmosphere if everyone is out during the day / night. Room was clean and comfortable and it wasn't too expensive. Breakfast was a bit average.

Very nice hostel in the south of the city. Staff were on hand 24/7 and had loads of information about the city, trips to do and places to go. We had a dorm room first night and then a double-en suite which was excellent.

Only two showers/bathrooms for dorm people.
