The place was great. Very friendly staff that were always willing to help you have a nice stay in Mexico City. Only bad thing is there is a barking dog in the morning, but it's not very bad. Honestly the best hostel I've ever stayed in Mexico. Staff went above and beyond to make sure our time in Mexico City was amazing. Great cozy atmosphere,cool music,books,tv and dvs, free breakfast,wifi-internet, chill lounge areas, great activities at night,tours, met awesome people, I can't stress enough... if you go to DF, STAY IN VERSALLES 104!!! Honestly the best hostel I've ever stayed in Mexico. Staff went above and beyond to make sure our time in Mexico City was amazing. By far the best thing about this hostel is the staff. The "common area" is cramped and "closes" at 11...that's a first for any hostel I've stayed in! No hot water in the shower, and the bathroom is divided from the rest of the place by a sheet- not much privacy at all!!! I most likely wouldn't stay here again, but as I said, the hostel staff are amazingly nice and they made it bearable. By far the best thing about this hostel is the staff. The dormitory is very basic and as someone said previously, a curtain is used where a door would be more appropriate. The staff tried their best to maintain the place but with the american owner who doesn't seem to care (as he is in the States and is running the place via skype) and a chronic shortage of staff, the place is run by the lodger(s) after eight. Otherwise ideal location - cinema only 2 mins of walk away, likewise for the nearest Metro and restaurants both budget and upmarket. We loved the atmosphere, very laid back. The staff was awesome and helped us out with everything we needed. The metro is literally a block away which was perfect for our needs. Overall I would recommend this hostel for anyone. We loved it and are planning on going back!We loved the atmosphere, very laid back. I came saturday night and Nash who is part of the staff, was waiting for me. she was really cool. The problem was that next day ( sunday) there was no staff around, no breakfast wich is supposed to be included. And ther was no hot water, off course no one to ask where was the damn hot Water.
