A very nice little place that is conveniently located next to the train station. The place was warm and welcoming especially during these cold winter months!

Myself and two of my friends spent a night at this hostel. Great location right next to the train station and only a couple of minutes walk downtown. The dorm was also lovely,,. Beds were comfy and clean. The staff were helpful especially the guy who served us at the bar downstairs, which was a lot smaller than we had imagined and did close pretty early but the guy was a lot of fun all the same! Would definetly stay here again when I visit Marseille!

Very nice place, warm, clean, funny, comfortable and secure. The outside could be dangerous for a single female in the night, but it's very close to the train station, so ... Come in the day time and don't show your i-pod, new mobile phone or camera : This is the best way to have any problem ! Johanna the manager, Séverine the room-maid's boss and Aziza the room-maid star, and Marketa, at the desk information, are very friendly and professionnal, you will be just relax, it's make you feel fine !

Very good place near the train station, but very bad area with dangerous people ( young arabic stoler ) on the street, not nice for a young single female. It is absolutely necesary to keep out of view, on bag or pockets, all the cameras or mobile phone, for you could be attacked, just for it ... Arriving late could be also a problem if the guy on desk is down stairs or if the ring is broken at door, as it happened to me ... Ask before ! But inside you'll be comfortable, save and quiet, happy !

Great location and decoration. Kind of a quiet hostel, but everything was good.

Marseille should not be advertised as a tourist destination. It is an uninspiring, unsafe and unattractive city.

friendly hotel, the girl at the reception very nice, you can use the kitchen, a colorful living room, a bar is always open. The room was large and there were as many as 3 electric heaters! But there was no hairdryer. The hotel is located in an area that may seem dangerous, but in reality is not so, because it is near the station, one of the main streets of Marseille and get there easily. The hotel is however a bit far from downtown and the local area, so be prepared to walk!

no complaints about the hotel or the location, which we chose to be near the train station. staff were grudgingly helpful. they close down the common room and internet at midnight, even though somebody is at the desk all through the night.

We were so pleased with the location, cleanliness, and value for our money. We will absolutely recommend this to our family and friends travelling in Marseilles. The staff members were so nice and accomodating, and our room was the cutest (third-floor double room with private facilities), and was quiet and comfortable, just what we needed. Thank you, THANK you!

This hostel is in a very poor and dirty part of Marseille. People were yelling & screaming, coming & going all hours of the night and the kitchen area was very tiny & dirty.

We stayed in the private and the dorms under different reservations, so this one is for the dorms: Kind of a disappointment. Their "guest kitchen" was just a hot plate and a wildly overstuffed minifridge, and the neighbourhood, though close to the station, is creepy and dark and not much fun. Also, the staff is pretty disinterested in you, and the breakfast isn't really worth the pricetag. For the money we paid, a real downer. Highlights were the spacious twin room and the eclectic crowd.

Cheap, great location, friendly staff, but not a hostel, so if your looking for that social atmosphere this isn't it.

Very good ambiance, design and atmosphere! A nice surprise. The only things that the hostel missed is the availibility of the hair drier.
