It is a great hostel with a great staff. Everyone of them were very helpful and kindly since the first contacto I made by email. They are in a very good location, 5min from Paraty historical center, near the boats for the beaches around and and with lots of local stores around.
This place is only about 5-10 mins from the bus stop and big supermarkets. It's got a big kitchen but the common room is quite small and our dorm felt quite stuffy at night. Breakfast ia good and although we didn't go on it (no time unfortunately) all the other travellers loved the boat trip.
The hostel is close to the bus station but about a 10min walk to town. There was a hangout area, but not too cozy. There are only two showers for the dorms, gets busy during peak hours. Not always that clean. Staff was friendly. And if you can, take the caipi boat with Gustavo.
The staff is fantastic. Gustavo and Ilse run the hostel like their home and are friendly all the time. Don't miss the boat tour. It is simply the best activity you can do in Paraty with free caipirinhas. The breakfast is big and very good. The hostel is simple, but very cozy and you really feel at home. I hope to be there again soon.
Was such a amazing place to stay... As beaufiul as Paraty was we were happy to stay in at the vibe ... As it had a amazing vibe... Friendly and helpful staff ... Met some great people and had loads of fun
We enjoyed our stay here, clean and easygoing. Friendly staff with helpful knowledge. The boat tour they do is loads of fun too :)
Only stayed here one night before going to Ilha Grande but it was good for a stop over. Staff were helpful and the hostel was good to chill in, good wifi
Thanks for making my stay a pleasure - I really enjoyed it and I appreciate all your efforts! Here's a tiny recommendation that I'd do if I were in your shoes: change the brand of the juice served for breakfast to one that tastes more natural and have better lighting in some areas in the hostel so that one can read in the night :)
Very helpful staff

We had a great time at the vibe hostel! The rooms are clean and spacious, staff is helpful and friendly und the breakfast selection is great! It's a 5 minute walk to the busstation and about 15 minutes to the City center. I can only recommand this hostel! If you like horsebackriding, there is a great Place for it in the mountains...

The hostel is very good. The price is really nice and it's a short walk to the main parts of the city (downtown area, bars, bus station, quayside, etc). We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who saw to our every need, even though hostels aren't usuaylly this well-prepared. Breakfest was nice, too! The only "con" was that one of the shared bathroom's drawers was very dirty, but that didn't bother us, since everything else was amazing! Really nice stay!! :)
Small and fun hostel. Great location for old town and bus station. Staff were great, lovely to meet them. Boat day trip was a highlight. Would be great to have more bathrooms, 2 for the whole hostel was a bit painful when it was busy. Hostel is really social, met some great people. Breakfast is good, all the usual fare for Brazil

The hostel didn't live up To its excellent reviews. There were not enough lockers for us to put our stuff in and the 6 man dorm was too small with all our bags. The location is good and close to the coach station, old town and supermarkets. The staff were a bit miserable creating a negative atmosphere. There was a lack of communal space which meant you didn't really want to hang around. The hostel was kept really clean and had a big well equipped kitchen.
We enjoyed our stay at Vibe including a good fresh breakfast with cake, fruit, cereals and toasties. We also had a great trip on the boat trip run by Gustavo with plenty of Caiprinhas! Highly recommended! We felt that there could have been better security on the front door which was open, especially having heard of a break in at a hostel in Paraty down the road.
A need for another bathroom as there were just two. And we did not enjoy being interupted (more than once) by a kayak selling partner. Everything else was great, including a veg and fruit shop next door
The staff are brilliant and really helpful. The location is near to everything and the staff are really good at giving you advice on day trips. Obviously the bathrooms are shared and when there are lots of girls staying the wait can be long to get in, there are two toilets and two showers but only one sink. The Caprinis are amazing
Staff were really good here. Location does not look that nice from the outside, but it's not a problem and close to the town. The common areas are quite small. Fairly clean and beds are comfortable enough. The Wi-Fi does not work that well, it's hard to connect to sometimes and the connection is slow.
Staff were incredible and very helpful! Lots of lovely people. Lovely stay!! Thank you
