A massive thanks to santi and the senoritas for such a fun and enjoyable stay at vibes. Everything was great, best hostel in ecuador.

Enjoyed our time at this hostel, right around the corner from the trendy night life area of Quito. Plenty of space and a decent kitchen. Would stay again

Didn't realise the bus terminals are so far away but got a can for $10 (about a 40 min ride if you came from South Ecuador) Staff were average, didn't seem to want to make any atmosphere at the hostel. This may be because there are so many bars near by, but also no intergeneration between guests as breakfast isnt included. Luckily we were with a group of fab people already. Great big sofa though for a cheeky movie day! Bunkbeds look homemade and very wobbly. Location is great though

Definitely not a party hostel. A nice place to stay but not much atmosphere.

Thanks very much . We are not being advertised as a party hostel anymore under new management , we set the conditions to be a very social place but there are nights when our guests just want to chill. thank you

Vibes has a lot of potential to be a great hostel. The owner was super friendly and helpful and the rest of the staff were ok. The place was dead the whole time we were there so it was lacking in atmosphere, but the beds were comfy, bathrooms always clean with nice hot showers and the kitchen was well equipped.

hey! Thanks for your comment, the place is full all the time but not everyday we have party crowds, nevertheless, we are 2 blocks away from the main Foch square with Vibrant night life for the partiers. Thanks again and good luck.

Pretty cool hostel. Offers a bunch of activities that lets you mingle with other guest. Great staff as well. Extremely safe given the reputation of the neighborhood. The only downside is, the interior design and furniture is quite worn down.

The manager gave us a cool welcome and excellent tourist guide. We shared a room with six people in bunk beds and I felt secure, it was clean, and it had a cozy atmosphere. However It was hard to sleep because of the people walking around (the wooden floor sounds a lot) and the people out of the room drinking and talking really loud. But I don't know, when I could sleep I slept like a baby. It was an old house but it was good enough. It had all the perks of an old house but it was good enough.

Pretty good place.

Amazing place to meet people and have aaaan amazing time in Quito! Ask the manager for any advice you need. If it's about going out you should give him some shots first. He'll join you as the best club guide ;)

It's perfect for a stay in Quito, you have everything necessary just near by. But specially the owner of the hostel makes you stay great. He helps you with everything and more!

Location was perfect, a stones throw from the centre. The building itself is beautifully painted and is a heritage building. It also offers outdoor showers, its great taking a shower in the moonlight :) The bar has great deals, offers DVDs, has a great seating area, a pool table and a foosball table. Has a back, front and roof bit for chilling. Rooms are great, clean and comfortable. The place is very secure. The staff are so lovely, especially Santiago, but hes also a pool shark ;)

Nice clean hostel, great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds and plenty of ammenities to serve any backpacker. Only thing id say is please fix the showers, pretty bad to see the water running all day for the sake of a 2$ washer to be able to turn them off properly. Otherwise excellent place to stay and would recommend, for a cosy stay in Quito! Free bevy on arrival aswel!!
