The hostel is ok, but nothing special. In my mind it is overrated. Staff was helpful, but most people were just travellers helping out at the hostel for a few weeks, so information was not always good / correct.

hi, thanks well friend if you were open to be social then Im pretty sure your trip could be special, on the other hand we have only one volunteer traveler at front desk, you have 4 ecuadorians with full knowledge of the country to help you , all you have to do it is to ASK and people will kindly respond.

Breakfast is a joke, showers went ice cold after a few mins. Bar is cute, good TVs, kitchen is good. Beds are comfy and clean enough. All other staff are lovely and helpful. Met lots of nice people despite the owner turning so many away.

The place was everything it says, if I didn't find an apartment I would of loved staying there. The staff was amazing in everyway possible! Absolutely no regrets. Terry

thanks for the love bro, come back if the apartment gets you bored hahaha

The cheapest hostel we found in Quito, so value for money is awesome. It´s a fairly basic hostel but not much can be done to it as it´s a protected site. The facilities are great though, with good sized dorms, clean bathrooms, a shared kitchen and bar and tv area with a massive flat screen tv! Santiago, the owner is amazing and so helpful!

Vibes was awesome.. Great staff, really friendly and helpful.. It's a great place to meet people.. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Ecuador. =D

This place was really well located in the touristy part of town that has heaps of bars and shops and a really cool feel. I was only here for one night so didn't really get enough of a feel of the city but the hostel was really well run and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I got a recommendation for dinner by one of the staff at a place just down the road which tasted AMAZING and was only a few dollars for a complete meal and a coke.

Arrived on ladies night so got free drinks (vodka with tonic/sprite/fanta or beer). Great atmosphere in bar with pool and fooseball tables but cleared out early enough that you can still sleep. Lockers in rooms have plug sockets for charging while locked!

A fantastic hostel ran by the wonderful Santiago. We stayed here for 2 weeks well learning spanish and it became home and had enough to offer that we didn't get bored. Great tv rooms and chill areas for daytime and the bar is fun at night!! Overall one the best places we stayed in all of South America

Good hostel with a good atmosphere. Close to all the bars and restaurants. Ladder was broken on my bunk which would have been the only issue. Came here after staying in the old town for two nights and it is a nicer place to stay. Old town is nice to visit during the day but not so great at night!

Great location to getting around town (close to a bus that will take you down to Old City). Walking distance to much of the main nightlife in Quito. A great mix of people that pass through here, real travelers. The staff is great and more than accommodating, especially the bartenders, Haley and Mallory!
