Vibes is a very run down hostel that could do with some maintenance. There are enough bathrooms and most of the time there was a queue for the toilet. The hostel is very cold and often there is no hot water. Great breakfast and awesome location, close to restaurants and nightlife.

Santiago and the rest of the staff were so fun and lovely! The atmosphere was excellent, we were constantly meeting people. The pool table and the foosball were really good for makiing new friends ;) Make sure you try the mojitos at the bar, yummmay!! Walking distance to everywhere we needed to go and if you dont feel like walking taxis are super cheap too.

This was my first trip to South America & I'm so happy I booked my stay at Vibes Hostel. The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful. If you needed anything, all you had to do was ask. They had a stocked bar and the location is very close to where all the fun is. The showers were clean and the beds, believe it or not were quite comfortable. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a fun and relaxing place to rest your head, definitely come to VIBES!

The hostel is dirty and the security inside is pretty poor. Anyone could just walk into our room and it was obvious there were people inside the hostel who weren't staying there. The TV is in the bar so you can't watch films when there are people drinking. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone.

Good spot to stay, enjoyed my time there. Make sure you check the bill at the end, plenty of beers on mine that I hadn't drunk.

Out of all the hostels I've been to in South America, this is certainly in the top three, and certainly the best in Quito. The staff, in particular Santiago, are extremely helpful e.g. I had my birthday at the hostel and the staff provided free drinks for me all night and a surprise birthday cake! The showers are powerful and hot :) The location is right in the centre with several great bars and clubs on the same street as the hostel. Best value and most fun hostel! I will definitely return :)

Good hostel. I rented private room 6 which is kind of strange because it has a kitchen area without dishes. I just kept that area closed. My only complaint is that the lockers are tiny cubbies meant for small items such as passports. They themselves are not very secure because you can just unscrew the hooks and open them. I always prefer hostels to have sturdy lockers in the rooms themselves large enough for a small backpack.

Great place! Santiago (the owner), along with the rest of the staff are all very helpful and friendly. Location is very central, close to shops, restaurants, and bars. Hot showers and clean, comfy beds! Defiantly would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Quito.

In a very good place in Quito, La Mariscal, this hostel is very close to the main bus lines, bars, markets and banks. Nice quiet rooms, good to relax (even though you have a bar inside the hostel, which is very nice, good prices and a nice place to meet friends). Great facilities. Showers really good. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. The hostel is so nice that I saw even people from the hostels around visiting them. And it´s very safe (the hostel and surroundings).

Stayed here over New Years and had a blast! There was two of us and ended up in a private room next to the bathrooms. The room was a bit musty, but only stayed in there to sleep. Most the time hung out in the common area. Met some great people. Centrally located to all three bus lines.
