WoW! What a great place this is! Perfect place to meet fellow backpackers. It has a nice decor and the lots of places to socialize with others.

AMAZING HOSTEL! Santiago who works there is a legend! will help you with just about anything you need and is always up for partying with you to! the hostel is clean with great communal areas! tons of lovely people always coming in! we have actually been back there on and off about 5-6 times now and has always been amazing, great area as well, very safe, close to amenties and they have a good kitchen to!!

Great hostel in a great location. Close to many resturants and bars but still located on a quiet street. Nice big kitchen, bar and relaxing area. Hot water at all times. Santiago and the rest of the staff will treat you like family. One of the best hostels I have stayed at.

i hardly ever give hostels a perfect score, but VIBES will have to be an exception to that rule. i had an absolutely incredible time there. VIBES (in particular the extremely cool, down to earth, and friendly owner) really puts the needs and comfort of travellers first - a true hostel in the real sense of the word. excellent location with complete amenities and a relaxed, youthful atmosphere that lends itself nicely to meeting new people and having a good time in the heart of Quito's zona rosa.

The first night my friend and I got there, the owner was very friendly and nice. However, after being checked in, he would barely look at us and answer our questions. The rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly all the time, but the owner was rude.

Nice and helpful staff, nice rooms, only if the showers were not outside or in the first floor... the location is excellent, close to a Metrobus station and the Foch square.

Great hostel in a good location. Close to the party part of town. PLenty of good food places around. Bathrooms are good and clean. Hot water can take a little while to kick in though. Will stay here again if i come back to quito.

Fantastic hostel, the best I've stayed at in the whole of south America. Really comfy beds, awesome common areas and perfectly located. The thing that really sets it apart though is the staff. They were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Made me feel at home straight away and that's a lovely thing when your travelling solo. Thanks so much guys (especially Santiago, your a legend!) Adios!

Really enjoyed my stay at Vibes. Excellent location in the new town, close to all the nightlife, airport and bus routes. Dorms were spacious and had lockers for your valuables. Great bar and common area - I especially enjoyed the Foosball table. Only $4 max for a taxi to the old town so no need to base yourself down there.

Vibes was a great hostel, very much a party place as well as chilled out. Beds are comfy and it is close by to the town square. Santiago was very helpful with any queries. Reasonable breakfast, we stayed in the double room and were given eggs which was a nice surprise rather than just been stuck with toast. Only down fall was we were told the bbq' on Sunday was free and got charged $6 each so check before hand.

Nice hostel in gringolandia. The breakfast was good and the atmosphere lovely. Definitly a good spot to meet people!

Vibes has good people and good beds. The breakfast is light but nice to have. Great location!

Really good bar & liked the integrated TV room - good idea. Spot on pool & fusbal table. Cornflakes for brekky was a refreshing change & beds comfy with big dorms. Slight downside is limited toilets as these are combined with showers & hence often busy, also some are out of order & appear to have been that way which is disappointing........still a great hostel though & perfect for meeting people........

Great location but everythinhg else very basic. A good, cheap option if you are not planning to be in your room much!
