My girlfriend and I had a very nice stay at Victor Lodge. The staff there were very friendly and the other visitors were easy to get along with. Thanks alot!

Like a motel but very clean and close to the lake and downtown. Breakfast is excellent and facilities are nice. Free videos available. Kitchen is also very nice and the staff is professional and friendly. Good value (for Canberra).

Great breakfast, comfortable beds, plenty of heating, although the fan on the heater was very noisy (room 11)

It was very quiet and a few of the people there are staying long term!! Breakfast was great and the kitchen was well equiped and it is close to some shops but a long walk to town.

Possibly due to being off-peak, but there wasn't much 'common room' for backpackers to hang out and chat. Being a cool climate, perhaps a lounge with an open fire would be nice. Probably more fun in the summer.

Pretty quiet place, all necessary information readily available, good for couples and visitors, easily accessible and near to good transport, really nice staff (esp Graham), breakfast a bit early for weekends though :)
