It's a bit of a walk from town and the Falls - but is a nice enough place.

stayed one night and was only one in 12 person dorm; bed nets are nice; def not the party hostel and good hike from town - 20min walk. showers were kind you have to hold up the head on your own. staff super helpful and will help organize activities. good wifi but they charge and breakfast not included. Livingstone, Zambia is much cheaper and would recommend to stay, book activities, and to see the falls. EVERYTHING is cheaper on Zam side; just get full view of main falls on Zim side - I did both

Huge thanks for the excellent stay and advice!

A fantastic backpackers spot! The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and are continually working on improvements. Great wifi, adequate kitchen (food in Vic Falls is notoriously mediocre unless you are eating the Sadza). Colorfully painted walls, simple but comfy rooms, the inhouse massage station, Nighly Braii pit, coffee spot, pool, etc - it is a restful but full place. I'd choose VFB every time over the other backpackers spots on the Zim side of the river.

Very cozy and done with imagination and soul.

Most beautiful place to stay, quiet and serene. It is easy enough to find the party some where else and come home to a nice clean bed! The staff was also phenomenal.

Great place, yummy breakfasts and BBQ dinners available, nice pool, beauty place right there for massages and manicures, VERY helpful staff, cool art everywhere, so much fun!

What I loved most was the natural setting and the lovely people. Both marina and Linda were helpful beyond belief. Despite problems with a snafu in my reservation, a broken key, and the cash machines running out if USA dollars...at the end of the day I wouldn't change anything. Oh, I can't forget Rosie, the killer Maltese dog who played with the resident chickens. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Though the location is quite far from the city centre, I will still recommend it due to the warm atmosphere and the helpful staff. The host, Marina, is very helpful and nice. She wholeheartedly wishes the visitors to have a unforgettable trip. This hostel gives a relaxing mood. Rooms are clean but the facilities are a bit old. The host can give valuable advice on how to get around and recommend tours for visitors.

This Hostel is very colorful and build with a lot of creativity!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The thatched roof cabanas lent a nice Out-of-Africa atmosphere. The evening braai (BBQ) was also enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here.

This is very friendly hostal that offers everything that one could ever need. Very quiet and chilled stay.
