Very nice stay!!!

We appreciate the welcome, insight, and guidance for our stay in Victoria Falls and Zimbabwe by the owners and staff at Backpackers. They provided services and a home base for us to see the falls and community through our time there. They also helped organize transportation to and from their location. The Backpackers setting also fostered conversation with travelers and hosts alike, making dialogue and sharing possible on site with persons from countries near and far.

The hostel is excellent. Marina is an excellent hostess and is always ready to assist in whatever way possible (tips of what to do in town, organizing sightseeing tours and all possible support to make your stay more enjoyable).

Breakfast and reception should be more punctual and keep the schedule. The have to start at 7:00 am as it is stated in the hostel with no delay.

Very thin mattresses in our en-suite room made sleeping very uncomfortable. Noise from guests after ten at night and loud talking between 3.30 and 5.00 in the morning also disturbed sleep. Therefore it was overall a poor stay.

It's a bit of a walk from town and the Falls - but is a nice enough place.

stayed one night and was only one in 12 person dorm; bed nets are nice; def not the party hostel and good hike from town - 20min walk. showers were kind you have to hold up the head on your own. staff super helpful and will help organize activities. good wifi but they charge and breakfast not included. Livingstone, Zambia is much cheaper and would recommend to stay, book activities, and to see the falls. EVERYTHING is cheaper on Zam side; just get full view of main falls on Zim side - I did both

Huge thanks for the excellent stay and advice!
